Good electronic maps that cover more than i thought
Great Topo maps for reference kind of pricey tbo but if you fish more than one lake especially for tournaments this is awesome to have (good updates and info about shallow rocks/ hazards/ trees). If you dont fish multiple lakes or u fish maybe once every so often pick up a paper topography map they are sooo much cheaper!Its not mentioned by most but it even covers a great amount of ocean waters too (san diego bay and a decent amount of off shore)

Be Sure To Check That It Covers The Lakes You Want
I would never have bought this if it weren't for the fact I had a map card to turn in for rebate.The coverage of Colorado's Lakes I go to is very poor: Carter, Horsetooth, Boyd, Jumbo, Sterling, Barr, Jackson, and many more.C-Map Genesis keeps getting better and better.

considering where I spend most of my time on the water it is a waste of money
The biggest river in the Western States, actually a series of lakes, known as the Columbia River is basically ignored with very little coverage. The second biggest river in the west, actually a series of lakes, known as the Snake River, also has very little coverage.The second most popular of the fishing and hunting lakes in Eastern Washington, Potholes Reservoir is not covered at all.For me, considering where I spend most of my time on the water it is a waste of money.
