I ranch for a living. Always a calf or two that needs help. This is the simplest one man tube feeding system and it works. Tube length is appropriate for fresh calves. Bulb on end of tube makes correct tubing possible for inexperienced hands. Rate of flow is quick but not overly rapid. Size of jug makes it easy to feed larger volume or additional meds with milk on larger calves. I really really like this product and would recommend it to professional cattlemen and veterinarians.It is easy to clean too. I would like to see it come with an additional screw cap that did not have a tube to prevent sloshing in transit to pasture or barn.

It does the job, and comes with simple, easy to follow instructions complete with pictures. Easy to use, easy to clean.

My husband and I have no experience tube feeding calves but were able to use this tube feeder to feed our calf successfully. I highly recommend it!When our calf was first born, out of desperation, we made and used a homemade tube feeder while waiting for this feeder to arrive. Our homemade tube feeder worked, but the Springer Magrath Fluid Feeder was much easier.
