It's a pate, kind of gooey but my girl loves it. She'd eat as much as i put out, but i mix in some rice and/or canned pumpkin for weight control. It doesn't smell strongly and evidently to a dog it's fine eating. It's not cheap but ingredients look healthy. Buying by the case works well for me. And what won't we do for our fur babies?

I've been feeding this to my dogs for years. It is a high quality dog food that my dogs like.

I appreciate the sweet potato in this recipe. I have tried other brands of dog food and have been unhappy with the amount of white potatoes inside. The sweet potato was the deciding factor for me. I do wish the price was less expensive. It would be more convenient if this pate formula was available in portioned amounts for small breeds, but I will continue to use this brand.

I had spent a lot on prescription dog food after a couple of bouts of pancreatitis. With money tight, I had to look for an alternative. I looked at the ingredients and this dog food is better for Digestive health for my dog than the high priced prescription brand. I've been using this for about 4 months and no issues at all.

Pup liked the food and the smell was acceptable. The problem is that the cost per can is almost $3.00 per can. I can buy 24 cans from Costco for $30.00 for a cost per can of $1.25 a can and pup is happy.

I love this food. My dog loves it and she's very picky. She suffered with pancreatitis since she was born and this food has been a life saver! She hasn't had a bout of pancreatitis in over 7 months since feeding her Solid Gold. I sprinkle some crushed up northwest naturals freeze dried liver over top of it and it's been the only food she will consistently eat without growing tired of it or not being willing to eat it. If your dog suffers with pancreatitis definitely try this food with the NWN freeze dried livers sprinkled on top and even the pickiest of eaters will love it!

One of my dogs is 10 years old. I have her on a weight management dry food, and I wanted to add some weight management wet food to it. I’ve tried several, but they didn’t agree with her.She loves this!
