Great replacement for cats
This sounds perfect. I didn't want to increase the exhaust noise when the cars got removed. This was perfect. Just a slight increase in noise but the wife hasn't noticed so it perfect.

I but these on v6 made it go deeper got rid of some of that v6 raspIts better than the outlaw especially for the price this is also louder

Great value
The media could not be loaded. Was looking for a glasspack muffler. This Flowmaster was the same price and in some cases cheaper than so no name brand. Easy install, sounds awesome at idle and sounds great going through the RPM range, once you get to redline, it doesn't sound as good, but it's livable. There is some drone at highway speeds, but not annoying, it's better to hear the exhaust than not. We'll see how long it lasts and I had read other reviews that say MagnaFlow or Dynomax were better, but cost a lot more. This is my "go to the junkyard" truck, so it doesn't get driven as much as my other vehicles, so I believe this should last the life of the truck or even longer. Oh and it looks good.

Loud
It's alot louder than you think it will be. 22 silverado 6.2 with the resonator shook the house. Sounds good but not for a daily driver.

409 stainless front to back! There's two different styles of the three inch I got lucky and got the right one! Solid welds looks good mill finish, oversized ends designed to slip over the pipe!

Very good for getting attention and tickets
The media could not be loaded. Very good sounding, very loud for attention and even to get tickets for noise

Loud and throaty
The media could not be loaded. The old 90s cat on my 1990 c1500 5.7L had decayed to the point of horrible fumes under the cab and an obnoxious noise. I removed it and just installed a 3x20in straight pipe to a dump by the rear diff. Sounded about as good as no cat straight pipe can sound but I wanted to tame it a little bit. This did exactly that. Kept it loud and mean sounding but tamed some of the higher pitch notes and got rid of the (small) drone from the straight. Very pleased.Edit: Been quite a while and she's broken in now. Still sounds great and has lasting quality. Truly worth the money.
