I searched, reviewed, researched, and tracked. When the price was right, I pounced. Can’t beat 43.99. I need them to add to my old Vanswe Power Cage purchased back in 2019 (pre-pandemic). The objective was to get a decent cage that could be used to develop strength. I researched and researched, like my process for the spotter arms. I purchased the best option at the time. But low and behold, I should have researched the company and the options more closely. See the big boys in the house are pricier, but they have options that are also pricier. The cheaper guys don’t offer options. Knowing what I know now, I would have sought the best product that offered options. My power cage did not come with the options that the newer Vanswe cages come with and there are no options for attachments or upgrades, even though the cages structurally have not changed. Back to the spotter arms. I purchased them because the did not come with my cage and there was no opportunity to purchase them from Vanswe. The newer power cage has more attachments, but not the spotter arms. The newer Gymworth version does. I kind of wished I would have waited since there are so many better options now and it took me 6 years to pursue this journey. I am happy with the purchase of the spotter arms. These are beefy and comparable to higher priced spotter arms. Pictures don’t do them justice. I don’t see them bending, buckling, failing, or otherwise having an issue with the welds. They have a solid and substantial build, including the screw in stabilizers. They seem to be made well and are expected to last. They add to the overall aesthetic, utility, and safety for my needs. The 5/8th to 1-inch adapters help them fit my Vanswe. They fit my 2 x 2 cage well. The protective UHMV pad is appreciated. I especially appreciate the versatility of being able to convert these for fly machine attachments, something else that my cage lacks. I don’t get the criticism specifically since there is information outlining precautions. I am not sure why precautions get issued when strength training is full of caution. Lastly, it cracks me up when I see folks whining about where products are produced, especially since the US no longer registers on the list of steel producers/manufacturers. Those processes were sold many years ago to those being criticized for producing it, catch 22.

Fit my 2X2 cage perfectly (Fitness Reality 810XLT) and is reasonably sturdy. A few minor complaints:1) The perpendicular surface is NOT pitched backwards. Therefore, when I set the barbell down it naturally rolls forward and away from the cage, to the part of the J-hook that is unpadded bare metal. There's no danger of the bar jumping out, but just seems silly that they didn't angle this slightly so the bar naturally rolls towards the cage instead of away from it.2) "Padding" is made of a hard plastic material that's slick with no give. It seems sturdy enough, but know that your bar will slide around on this surface pretty easily. Other reviews have said that these pads wear down quickly.3) The knob on the back of this that's meant to secure everything in place essentially drives a bare screw into your cage, which is guaranteed to scratch your paint and leave a groove in the metal. That said, I don't use these screws at all and everything sits fairly securely as long as you're in control of the bar. Slam the bar down hard enough, and these things do bounce around a bit.The price is right (~$25)on these things, so I can't complain too much.
