These are great treats for any dog but I appreciate that even my older dogs can enjoy them without having to struggle to chew them up. When all my dogs were younger I used to give them a different green treat for their teeth (which they loved) but as they got older and had some of the inevitable dental issues that come with age, it seemed like they had a lot of trouble chewing those, so I tried these. What a great find! They are much softer so they are great for the geriatric canines in your life. Judging from my dogs enthusiasm when I open the bag, they must taste great. I especially appreciate the slight minty freshness they have which helps the whole "doggie breath" issue. They are affordable, too. Basically, I don't see a downside. Two dewclaws up from our household.

My dog is very picky. I buy bags of dental chews and he will not touch them. This brand he really likes! Also, since my dog is small and has few teeth left, I was happy to find a product that is not too hard for him to chew.

We were used to the precut treats and were surprised by the longer roll. We have found, however, that it has given us more options re the size and the bag is lasting longer that the precut. The flavor is the same I guess having not tasted either myself and the smell is not offensive in any form.This is a good product that we have used in small pieces as a training treat for a young pup and a reward for the older dog.
