I’ve been using the Bialetti 4962 Rainbow Espresso Maker for a while now, and I’m really impressed. The espresso always comes out rich, smooth, and flavorful, no matter how many times I’ve used it. It, like all Bialetti's, works really well. To me it's easy, but I know for some people they find it slightly complicated. It helps to always use it on the same place on the same burner so you can control everything more easily. The handle is plastic so you want to keep that facing the outside of your burner. It is a good value for the money. I know it feels kind of pricey, however it's so pretty and makes such good coffee, it's kind of a "you get what you pay for" thing. When you clean it, I rec not using a lot of soap, mostly focus on quickly getting off any coffee or coffee oil. It's easy to get soap stuck in the "basket" so rinse that out a lot. I also don't think it works well to smash a ton of coffee in there, you need roughly 3 cubic cm of air in the basket. Fill the water to half way across the bolt in the well. Enjoy!

After vacationing in Italy and becoming accustomed to the great coffee made by this mocha coffee pot, I returned home and purchased my own Bialetti mocha coffee pot. All my relatives and friends in Italy recommended I do not buy any other brand other than Bialetti for its authenticity and reliability. It is very easy to operate, comes with clear instructions and it cleans up with no fuss. This specific model comes in several different fun colors. After several months of use, there is no chipping or discoloration of this beautiful colored finish. If you enjoy smooth coffee flavor, consistently made at the correct temperature and ease of use, this is the coffee pot for you.

It’s fun to have a blue Moka pot, the color makes me smile. It works like all Moka pots and makes exactly enough for 1-2 cups (American style) with heated or foamed coconut milk. I find that my liver often dislikes coffee (nausea or abdominal pain after drinking) but I can drink an little espresso without a problem. For some reason, a cup of coffee from the Moka pot from time to time, doesn’t cause me any issues and makes me happy especially on a rainy day.

I have a couple of these in different sizes and the Bialetti pot is my go-to for morning coffee. As has been said by others, the "6-cup" size is just about right for 2 American coffee cups, especially if you want to add milk. As for cleaning, the maker warns against using soap or the dishwasher, and I agree with that. I put one of my pots in the dishwasher (I was ready to run a load) .and that was a mistake that could only be remedied by purchasing a new pot. The dishwasher mottled the finish, and did something to the inside so that any coffee brewed was just awful. I purchased a bottle brush and use that to clean the pots -- much easier, and doesn't affect the taste. I think its sort of nice to have a couple of kitchen items that don't have any electronics or plugs -- and this is certainly that.

I love this thing. It looks cute and it makes delicious coffee. Yes, this method takes longer, but the results are so much better that I don't care. I save this for my weekend treat when I have time to really savor my morning beverage.

Really like the way my coffee tasted from this one cup espresso maker, which is actually the equivalent of one cup of 7 ounces of coffee. Unfortunately, it burned very easily on my electric stove looked burn from the outside within three weeks of purchasing it or less. It also looked burned from the inside and even though the coffee tasted great it looked terrible this beautiful red little coffee maker looks terrible and then the final straw came when the black handle which is essential to pour the coffee loosened and fell off. I contacted the company and I have not heard back from them because I’m outside of the return policy.
