Great device, takes some time to learn software
Great device. These work really well for serial devices. It takes a little time to understand the nomenclature, but it is set up very well. Can easily connect up to 4 serial devices via 232, 485, etc. Thank you!

The product works fine but software is buggy
It's works fine when it works. However after some time one can't telnet to serial port. It becomes unresponsive. One cans till ping to main IP address. Power cycling fixes it but it ends up in same state after some time. Hardware wise it's well designed and built product and very economical in comparison to MOXA but software is buggy. Returned.

Impossible to configure!
Good luck with this! I wish I had not bothered with it. no instructions, unhelpful web site, nothing on youtube. TRASH.

Va de lujo
Aunque viene sin instrucciones, se pueden encontrar fácilmente en internet. Funciona muy bien, tiene servidores TCP/UDP para cada puerto serie, es fácil de configurar y de usar. Se puede encontrar Sw que te instala los puertos serie remotos como puertos locales, probado con aplicaciones como teraterm, moba, en incluso para depuracion con eclipse. La única pega es que viene con enchufe inglés y necesite un adaptador

Gut mit leichten Ecken und Kanten
Ich werde dieses Produkt einsetzen um verschiedene Messgeräte per serieller Leitung zu steuern, aber vom PC weg per TCP anzusprechen.Mittlerweile läuft es genau so wie ich mir es vorgestellt habe. Es war also genau das Produkt für meinen Anwendungsfall.4 Sterne aber aus folgenden Gründen:1. Es wird halt mit Stromadapter für UK geliefert => Man braucht einen Adapter oder ein anderes Netzteil. Dankenswerterweise verkraftet der Konverter eine ziemliche Spannungsrange. Ein 12V Netzteil hatte ich noch. Funktioniert damit wunderbar.2. Der nervige Teil ist, daß die TCP Default Configuration statisch ist. Das Gerät hört nur auf 192.168.0.7. Man muß erstmal seinen Rechner so umkonfigurieren, damit man im selben Netzsegment ist, Die Admin Oberfläche öffnen und dann auf DHCP umstellen. Ab dann läuft es völlig easy. Das Gerät hat ne menge physische Schalter integriert. Hier wäre ein weiterer schön gewesen um auf DHCP umzustellen.Aber nochmal:Nach den Anfangshürden bin ich von dem Produkt überzeugt. Tut genau das was es soll. RS232 Config Parameter individuell für die 4 Ports per web UI konfigurierbar. Jeder RS232 Port per eigenem TCP Port ansprechbar. Meine Messgeräte interagieren auch wurderbar.Kann es also empfehlen
