So good, as always
Joy's been in town for two years, having relocated for a teaching job. When she's first arrived, Lonny had been especially welcoming and they'd dated for a few months. Eventually, Lonny's bragging about his rodeo career got the best of her, and Joy decided he was too stubborn and conceited for her. By that time, Lonny, who'd always wowed the ladies, had decided that Joy was too hard to please. After a near miss at an intersection, tempers and sparks fly. Could they really still be attracted to one another? You'll enjoy the rocking path this romance takes.

A Review of The Wyoming Kid by Betty Contino
I loved this book as I do all of her books I have read. They certainly keep your interest and I am always looking for another one. I have read a LOT of her books and enjoyed everyone of them. I hope she doesn't stop writing them. There are very few authors I enjoy as much as I do Debbie Macomber!! Thank you, Debbie.

If you love scrappy characters, you'll love this book.
I thought this book was very cute....predictable,yes, but still very cute. I loved the constant sparing back and forth between Lonny & Joy. It made me laugh more times than not. The story started out with a bang, after Lonny and Joy's minor accident. The attractiion between these two grew more and more, no matter how these two tried to deny it. I was so happy right to the very end.Actually there is two stories in one here. The other story I found equally as good, btween Lonny's new ranch hand, Tom, and the daughter of the man who owns the feed store.

Good read
Debbie never disappoints and this story is no exception. Letty is determined to get her best friend, Joy and her brother, Lonny together. The only problem is that they are like oil and water and do not like each other at all. Will they change their minds as they are often thrown together at community and family events? Nicely written and the characters are people I could get to be friends with.

Feel good story
Sometimes you just need a good feel good romance to read. This one fits the bill. Predictable plot - boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back. But the relatable and likable characters with the happy ending provide the perfect escape from the stress of life. I'm thankful for authors who can create an enjoyable story like this.

Maybe if you're 13 years-old...
Just because Book Bub offers me an easy 99 cent easy read on Amazon doesn't mean I should take it. Couldn't get out of the first chapter. Lead character, Lonny, sputters and sputs like a foolish caricature of an crusty Curmudgeon. Wasn't expecting high literature, but jeez...

Disappointed
I very disappointed with this book. The story was so simplistic that you knew exactly what would happen step by step. The characters had no depth, didn't care what happened to them. Very surprised at because Ms. Unabomber books are usually very good. Don't waste your money or time..

A lovely feel good read
A follow up to Denims and Diamonds and centers around Lonny and Joy's relationship.Lonny and Joy got off on the wrong foot, with Joy thinking Lonny is arrogant and rude. However, this is not the car and Lonny has to put things right and make Joy realise that he loves her and she loves him!!!A lovely feel good story, Debbie Macomber is one of my favourite authors and I love everything I read of hers.
