The NYC Acoustics N15BR is one of the coolest speakers on the market. It really gets the party going. This speaker first and foremost was manufactured to give you crystal clear sound. With 600 watts peak power and 300 watts RMS power this speaker is a power-house! This speaker can be used for lots of different applications since it has a built in rechargeable battery. You can charge it and take it outdoors and use it for anything from speeches, parties, tailgating, DJ events, and much more! If you play this at full volume at a house party, you will likely get complaints from the neighbors. The speaker goes very loud. It is also perfect for small gigs. Please note we are aware of some brands on the market who write 2,000 or 3,000 watts on their speakers and they do not even go half as loud as these. We are honest about our power ratings.Before I talk about the features and options of this item, I wanted to talk about the guts of the unit. It all starts with the cabinet. One thing some audio enthusiasts overlook is the level of importance the enclosure of the speaker has on sound quality. This uses a top of the line wooden enclosure which is one of the reasons the sound quality is so crisp. Other brands use particle board wood which is not as dense as the high quality MDF wood we use. This item has a 15” woofer with 2” KSV voice coil and 40 Oz magnet that provides really CLEAN sounding bass. The 2 tweeters provide great sounding highs. One of the reasons our speaker sounds so good is due to the amplifier. Our engineers decided to use great quality magnets and voice coils and match up the proper amplifier to power them.

Arrived Defective
We had one of these for about a year, and it mysteriously died--the module that selects mode/Bluetooth/etc. was no longer getting power, sporadically. So we went to buy a new one. It arrived defective--Mic Line didn't work, Line In was so quiet you would have to have an ear to the speaker to hear it, and the power button had trouble turning off once it was on. On the upside, Audiosavings (Sai helped us) was very professional, and agreed to ship it back and to a full refund. We did not exchange, only because we no longer trust that product/manufacturer; however, I would definitely buy from Audiosavings again--I am just researching the product a little better before I buy again. I will update this if there are any surprises on the return/refund side, but I expect it to all go well, based on their service level thus far. Highly recommend Audiosavings, but highly discourage buying this particular product at all...
