Good balance between top and bottom. I feel the 2 screws keep the removable double light bar on the upright bar for the stand securely. I did add a small piece of rubber there to stop a tiny wobble- perhaps Manufacturer should supply that in the future. The spaces are there to spread the 2 individual lights further apart. These 2 lights are harnessed together with plenty of slack via their cord that uses only 1 outlet. Light produced seems to be more than adequate as I plan on buying another to illuminate the other side of my work without being a glare. The light seems quite white and doesn’t change colors of the object of my work. I’m quite happy with this worklight. Now I’ll find out how long the lights last.

I've had this light for 2 years. I purchased so I had good lighting when painting my new kitchen cabinet doors. I'm now using the light for finishing my basement. These lights are amazing and I love the adjustability. I really need a second one, but I can't justify it for just one project so I just move the one I have around. I have zero complaints about these lights or the quality and stability of the stand. I would highly recommend this light.

I bought this lamp for grooming a black standard poodle. Even with the brightest of lights, his black coat was difficult to see.The very first grooming day (3 Standard Poodles. Black, brown, and red.) I set the light to bounce light from my slanted ceiling onto my grooming area. It was perfect.The light is easy to store and set up. I keep it in a closet when I am not using it. It is small enough to sit, folded down, in the closet without taking up much space. In addition assembly couldn't have been simpler. I have recommended this light to several of my friends who groom their dogs as well. My husband is going to buy one for his shop for special projects at some point. Until then he is borrowing this one.

bought these lights for a 1973 corvette restoration project. My day job runs from 9AM to 6PM, so my only time to work on the car is from 6:30PM to 9~10PM. Prior to these lights, I would start with sunset lighting and struggle with a hand held flashlight until finally giving up around 8PM.These lights are bright AF. I can go straight thru 10PM and deep into the night without eye strain and loss of concentration or interruption caused by a faulty flashlight or looking for any bolts and screws that lost my grip.The quick release is a bit weak as another review pointed out, but if you handle your tools with care, I'm sure this won't be a problem. It's not like you're switching from the tripod to the handle constantly.As soon as I can, I will be placing another order, even though it may be overkill.

The title of the review says it all. I got this light to provide spot coverage for an area in my garage that is dimly lit, but which also happens to be where my airbrush is located. Hard to believe, but it's difficult to do a good paint job if you can't see what you're painting! This light fixed my problem. It's sturdy, it's a steady piece of equipment that doesn't wobble, and it's BRIGHT!!! The only thing I had any issue with was the cryptic instructions-- so cryptic, in fact, that they're completely useless. Fortunately, there aren't a lot of moving parts, or parts at all, and it was pretty easy to puzzle out what went where. All things considered, I'm really very happy with my purchase.

This light seems to be slightly better quality than I initially expected, which is great. On the plus side, the cord and switches seem to be heavier duty than most electrical components from overseas. The downside; the quick release mechanism holding the lights to the stand allow the lights to wobble somewhat, but I don't think it will be an issue. I like the quick release feature, it's just not a solid connection to the stand. The black rubber caps on the ends of the legs are thin and I don't expect they will last a long time especially if the light is used on rough surfaces like concrete. But they should be easily replaceable at a local hardware store if necessary. Also, the brief instruction guide is written well enough and mentions a one year warranty, but there is no contact email, phone number, or address listed, so I don't expect there will be any support if something goes wrong. Overall, I don't believe this light, or any of the many similar lights on Amazon will take much abuse, but if used with care, it may last a long time.

I am new to drywalling, mudding and sanding. I bought this to tackle the project of restoring the house myself after my home was flooded from Hurricane Florence. I researched and researched and finally purchased this work light. WOW!!! This thing is awesome. My 15yo daughter decided to help and eventually ended up hogging the light, so I purchased a 2nd one. Now we both can work on separate projects at the same time. I highly recommend this work light. I've had it since Nov 2018 and have used it everyday. It has had drywall compound dropped on it, I've used it while sanding (it's been full of drywall dust). It's been knocked over several times and it's still ticking. I love it!!!!

Some assembly required. Worth the money loots of light and it doesn't create heat.
