I bought this for my 14 year old son for Christmas so he has not received it yet but I have skimmed through and it is very insightful. Wonderful for learning about life in so many ways! I am excited to give this as a gift because I know he will appreciate it (and actually read it).

I ended up giving this book away because my grandson was a bit too young for it. This is a great resource for boys, lots of little things they should learn about.

Bought it for my grandson, he hasn't paid much attention to it, I guess he knows it all. I love it. It has some stuff he knows but there's are a lot of things in there he doesn't know.

I love it! This book is stuffed full of valuable "how to" knowledge and advice for young fellas in their teen years and starting out in life. I bought one for my teen grandson.

I wish I had this book available when I was about 12. I had good men around but didn't have the forthrightness to ask for help in a lot of these areas. this book is very helpful. I'm one of the dipsticks (his term) who was very ignorant in a lot of these skills.

My son loved it! Even has some tips and tricks that I never learned.

I am saddened to see that many of the negative reviews on here are simply because it is a traditional, conservative, Christian and is how the old school men used to be raised. Even though our society nowadays is pulling away from that, there are still many of us that value these old school ways. As a single mother I find it refreshing and helpful and my son loves this book. Hopefully these core masculine values don't disappear any time soon!

I got this book as a present for my 15 year old cousin, but after a quick scan when it arrived I couldn't bring myself to even give it to him. An embarrassing combination of dated, confusing and borderline sexist advice. Was genuinely amazed to see this was only written in 2014!

This book encloses so many important guides from how to change a tire to how to prepare for a job interview. Many of these things are not taught in school. This book is a really good gift. We were all so interested by the book that we wanted to try things out such as "how to do a good handshake" or just read and learn new things.

Bought for my 14.5year old nephew for Christmas.He is VERY into gaming but I took a punt on this book. It was the only non-gaming present he showed interest in.He will no doubt return to it over the next couple of years

Brought as a present but I was unable to gift it as there are streaks down many of the pages which are unsightly and make it hard work to read. Because of that I've not even bothered to look at the content in detail but a quick scan suggests it's more suited to an American audience.
