We have been supporting the poppies thro the British Legion for many many years. But well after the 11-11-11 our poppies are put into a small memorial flower pot in our conservatory. But this year we decided to get a more permanent poppy, so whilst still supporting the BL in their appeal with money, which would require their expense of actually having to produce the paper and plastic poppies, We grabbed 2 of these more permanent pin badges, having looked thro a shed load of alternatives in Amazon.We ordered them too late for this November, but we did get them before the advised delivery date, and they are just gorgeous, and just what we wanted.It is 50mm side to side and 40mm top to bottom and has a traditional very well made safety pin type back mounted fixing. all on a backing card.The broach manufacture itself is first class as is the enameling around the poppy head and the wording around the bottom banner. The colours are vivid and traditional.For us, this will be worn for as many years as we are able, with great pride whilst still supporting the BL appeal and saving them money and the planet.We will wear this with pride, so can you, so get some. For a few pennies? never ever forget and display your emotions or feelings for those Guys that gave everything by wearing such a permanent pin badge.

Good size, sturdy construction and easy fastening to a jacket or coat lapel. A little heavy perhaps for a sweater etc.
