Great potty training pant
I ordered the lamb, cat and ladybug pants to use as a training pant for my daughter who is learning to use the potty. It took awhile for them to arrive (This is why I only gave 4 stars - 5 weeks seems a little long to me) and while I had ordered a size medium in all three prints, the ladybug arrived in a size large. I contacted the seller and received a response the same day. They told me to keep the incorrect size and they shipped out the correct size the very next day. Wonderful customer service! I will say that I ordered a size medium for my 21 pound 18 month old daughter. She is very petite and based on other reviewers comments I decided to get a smaller size than what the sizing chart suggested. They fit her just right in the waist and are not too tight around her legs, but the rest of it is pretty bulky. She doesn't seem to mind though. She has only had one accident in them so far and there was no leaking at all! I could not believe it. We had previously been using the Gerber brand training pants and there would always be a little puddle where she was standing and her legs and feet would be wet. I am so glad that I found these!

Excellent in functiona nd value
I give these training pants an EXCELLENT rating. No training pant is going to be perfect (stick to diapers if you're not ready to deal with some accidents). That being said, these ones are the best ones we own both for how well they work as well as the price. We have tried multiple brands of training pants (gerber, blueberry, bambino mio, handmade ones) and these ones are the ones we prefer above others. They are ideal for several reasons. 1) They're not bulky and they definitely feel like underwear to the child, 2) The waterproof layer is thin and very POWERFUL. These pants will hold a full pee with only the outer pants/shorts getting slightly damp, 3) The elastic around the legs prevent the leakage from escaping that route (but do so without being uncomfortable or too tight for my child), 4)They hold up for pooping accidents or diarrhea (we had an unfortunate public episode of bad diarrhea with a gastroenteritis and thank goodness my child was in these underwear rather than any of the other brands), 5) They wash well (washer and dryer) and are not showing any signs of wear, 6)The price is exceedingly reasonable, 7) My son loves the animal characters. I rarely write product reviews, but these really are worth the price and are our go-to training pants.

Ok
If the child is only wearing this diaper without any pants over it, it catches the pee better (normally kids froze when they make accidents) but if you move them then it start to leak, so carry the child instead of making them walk to the bathroom..overall, the material isn't thick but could catch pee, you're best bet for an absorbent training pull up if want a real soft cotton and you don't mind the price is the Under the Nile or Gerber. I got 3 of these but material was rough on the pee region after a couple of washes. We just use this at home from time to time now because it's not too soft

Love these!
I think these are great for the price. I have purchased several brands of training pants. We have been using under the Nile , Gerber, Imse Vimse, and Okie Dokie brands. The under the Nile, Gerber, and Okie Dokie underwear are all very comparable as far as fit and holding a small mess. Imse Vimse probably hold the largest accidents and I would trust the most during nap time and car rides. These pants however are very impressive as far as containing accidents. My son has had 2 accidents in them so far, and each time I didn't realize it until he took them off for a bath or to use the potty. The exterior was completely dry! The inside is a terry waterproof towel feeling fabric. I love these for the price and the ability to contain an accident. A great training product. Love them. One note is that I ordered the xl size and they are really big on my chunky almost 3 year old. They do fit snug around his legs which is good.

Meh...
I bought these (and the dog print ones) since they're accepted by my son's school and I wanted to avoid using pull-ups. After reading about the sizes and how they run big (even asking a friend who purchased these for her son), I went down in size. Well guess what, they were so tight around my son's legs that he was acting like I had put shackles on his thighs. Additionally, I had cut the tags off already so I couldn't return. Luckily they're pretty cheap so I just gave them to a friend to use on her much younger child. The quality is pretty good and they seem like they would be absorbent. My only complaint is you just don't know about the sizing. Next time, I plan on avoiding any type of clothing where there are discrepancies with the sizing.

not for beginning trainers, good for later on
These are super cute and nice quality cotton. The inside is terry and there is a waterproof crotch. There is a layer of waterproof material sandwiched between the inside and outside layers, but that's all there is as far as absorbency goes. So if you have a baby who is usually dry and just gets damp occasionally but still mostly gets to the potty you're set. If you need more absorbency, you may need to wait on these or alter them. For now, I am using these with three flannel diaper liners and they don't leak through.

Preferred Panties for Potty Training
Love these training pants. The PUL layer is sandwiched between the fabric layers to help a waterfall, but you will, without a doubt, know when an accident occurs. They get quite wet. Cute design, wash well....I have had to bleach a few times and the color stayed more or less true which is a bonus.Shipping is NOT quick. I ordered them from here after ordering from ebay hoping they would arrive sooner, but no such luck. Ebay was much cheaper, so I bought the rest from there (I like to have lots on hand during training).Overall I prefer these to the classic trainers with plastic outers, though if going out, I will sometimes put plastics over these to avoid a potential accident involving washing the carseat .
