Kona Cotton Marine, Fabric by the Yard

On the right is the "navy" fabric I ordered 18 months ago - it's more of an indigo color, and it's exactly what I wanted. I needed some more, so I ordered more in August 2019 and the fabric on the left arrived - it's more of a royal blue than the dark navy I received before. I'm afraid to order any more fabric from them since I don't know what I'll be getting.

this fabric feels more like a polyester that a cotton....I have other Kona Cotton fabrics that are heavier ...it also came as if it was stuffed into a bag...not folded lengthwise as most yardage is....full width and 4 yards of a wrinkled mess...not impressed at all

The fabric was 42 inches wide, not 45 inches. I noticed the big difference from my white kona cotton bolt. I wonder if it is indeed kona cotton as I would not expect the company to produce different widths of the same fabric.

Kaufman kona cotton fabrics are a very happy discovery for me. Tightly woven with vibrant colors (that green is just the happiest bright color I’ve ever had). Maybe a tad thick for masks and quilting (I would call them medium weight), but the quality is on point. So far all the colors are wash resistant.

I really love this fabric. I have ordered it 3 times now. Unfortunately I only received 2 yards when I ordered and paid for 3 yards. Disappointed is an understatement.

I’m always looking for solid colored fabrics for my quilting and machine embroidery designs. This is a lovely light creamy beige color. The quality is superb as it is Kona cotton.it’s the perfect backdrop color for my machine embroidery projects.

I recently took up embroidery and many people recommended Kona cotton for projects. After one stitch, the fabric was slipping through the very tight hoop and it felt like it was going to tear. You can see the back side stitches even without direct sunlight. I don't think what I ordered is what I actually got, there's no way this is the nice thick, soft cotton everyone told me to buy. This is cheap fabric I can barely use for practicing on.

Very happy with this purchase. Fabric was nice, as expected, good color (pic is the navy in natural light). Used iron on vinyl on this fabric and had zero trouble getting it to adhere. As a beginner sewing project, I covered a small ironing board with it, over top its original baby blue fabric, and I'm super happy with it. Best part was it shipped a few days earlier than estimated!
