This works tremendously well to blockout the sun. It has a nice texture as well on the exposed side

Great product
Very good at blocking out sunlight. I’ve used various other products and by far this one has impressed me the most. Only complaint was when first applied it came down after a week but then after reapplying it’s staying out for over a month now.

Pitch Black
I used this for my bedroom since I like the room to be pitch black, like a vampire in a coffin. It installs easily and I have had no issues with it. The room is now nice and dark.

Is good but after a few days it starts pealing off the window and have to spray water again.

Double think....
It does a good job blocking the sunlight, however it creates heat which is not good for a window. Just noticed today, trying to figure out why the room is warmer and I noticed it started getting warm when I put this film on. Back to the heat that BLACK produces, it has cracked the window due to the extreme difference of cold and hot. Blackout shades are still better. :/
