TravelScoot (35 lbs) World's Lightest Folding Electric Mobility Scooter for Adults

My other Scooter is a little over a 100 lbs . And I had a lift in the back of my truck. But I sold that truck and had the lift installed in the back of my sister's truck. So she had to take me when I needed the cart. Dr appointment , amusement park , anywhere that required some walking over 30 feet or so. I bought a new 2019 Chevy Cruze and decided that I wanted to be a little more independent. And this TravelScoot has done that for me. I carry it in my car alway's in case I need it. I can unload it and assemble it in a few minute's. I can take the lightweight battery out and charge it every week or after I use it. It's so lightweight I can just push it around if I am in a tight area. It does not have a key to turn it off and on but you get a cable lock in case you want to lock it up. I bought a cup holder and a cup and a front basket but I have not installed them yet. I have been so busy. Overall I rate this the best there is, that's why I have it. I would be glad to answer any of you're question's as I have on a lot of other product's that I have bought from Amazon. I have stage 4 COPD so I have a little knowledge and experience .

Heavier than advertised. Not modular, it has to be broken down in to many pieces at the very best to put into any car or small SUV. Return policy is horrid, We pay for shipping and a restocking fee. Made in China. if you want a poorer product, buy a pair of roller skates.

Have used on many trips. Love the weight. Portability is great. Battery life has been surprisingly long. Only issue i have is the comfort of the seat. I wish it was not a bicycle style seat - after long usage it is NOT comfortable .....the back hits me right in the kidney area and no adjustment available. REVISED after 1 year use I reduced star rating because 1. The seat is very uncommon and the back seat rest has no adjustment. Which translates into one size fits all ....but as we all know we are different heights and the seats may be perfect for some hit not all 2. I have been pitched off twice. Once when i forgot to take break off - hit accelerator and it made back jump to side and pitch me Second time was when i was stopped talking to friends and didn’t notice the front wheel wasn’t straight. When i got ready to GO - again i got pitched. The other incident- you must be very careful when going over sidewalk seams if they are deep - they can also cause issues if not gone at perfectly straight. This is perfect for smooth riding areas The weight is perfect and light I just wish it had 2 wheels in front for better stability

I really like how easy it is to put together and fold-up. It fits in my CRV easily and does not take up all the room in the back. The only thing I don't like is how hard the seat is. After about an hour of riding at the street fair my back was aching. I did purchase a gel seat that helps, but it is floppy.

Having been unable to walk longer distances (over ½ mile or so), I find this is the perfect solution for me. While on vacations or shopping trips where there is no electric scooter, this is an ideal light-weight and easily transportable device. I chose this over other competitors as the rear-wheel drive gives you better traction; it even comes with a cane-holder in front! I do appreciate the product integrity and engineering insight on how this device is designed and works; it reflects the company’s integrity as well. Please read their product details and watch the You-tube videos; what they say about this device is true. I compared this TravelScoot long and hard against other 3 wheeled /transportable scooters. I’ve also rented bigger travel scooters on vacations. All the others have their unique features but what sold me is the light-weight manageability, availability of features and accessories, it’s airline-travel suitable, and how it can be easily put in the back of a car. (it goes in the back of my SUV just great!) Their service and support are great; I had an issue folding this up and their rep called me even on a non-business hour time-frame. I found that following their directions (exactly) on how to fold it allowed it to fold up as expected. (my mistake in not following their instructions!) This scooter is perfect for those with a walking disability. It does not replace a wheelchair and requires you to be at least somewhat able to control your legs. Being 6’5” tall, it fits me as I would expect and zips me around in ways I could only wish my legs could do. So take it from someone that tends to over-analyze things and spends months reading and comparing the pros vs. cons, features, prices etc. of products before I buy them. This TravelScoot is what it says it is, and performs beyond my expectations. It makes going out and exploring the world a welcome adventure again.
