Deluxe Aluminum Transport Wheelchair

My 93 year old mother was not expecting this w/c so I was holding my breath when it arrived. She loved it, found it to be very comfortable with good back support. It rolls and turns smoothly. I love it, should have bought this years ago to make both our lives easier. Three suggestions: 1) the foot rests need to be adjustable or lower. They are fairly high off the ground. Even 1 inch lower would allow my 5 foot tall mother to independently lift her feet onto the rests. 2) It's good that the foot rests have a release that allow them to swing to the sides, but it would help if the rests did not fall off in this position when the w/c is lifted into the car trunk, especially since they have to be lined up just right to put them back in place. It would be much better if there was a second release to actually remove the rests. 3) A brake that was in reach of the person in the chair would allow them more independence. Someone else needs to release the brake to back the chair away from a table or set the brake for the person to get up, out of the chair.

This is a nice sturdy chair. I am a large woman and my husband can take me from place to place in this. It's not comfortable enough to spend a lot of time in, but for transport (which is its purpose), it's just great.

Each time I went out with my husband and needed a wheelchair from a place of business, either they were too tight, broken, or they didn't have one. I decided to ordered this wheelchair because it appeared to be user friendly. Well, I'm so pleased with my wheelchair. My husband tells me it so easy to push and it's lightweight and convenient. I keep it on my SUV so that whenever we're out it can be readily available. I highy this wheelchair to anyone with a disability whether it be temporary or permanent.

Just received the chair,fast shipping by seller.every thing seem perfect,however,if you want to use the seatbelt,the belt is too short for the big person,have to remove and replace the belt to the midle screw from the back support.

We just used this chair for my brother that has a Traumatic Brain Injury for the first time this week and when he was being pushed from one room to the next both handles snapped off. This is obviously a major fault as we are lucky he was on flat ground. We could have got the one defected chair, but for someone with a disability I would be very careful and not take any chances to prevent anymore harm to them.

Great! Light weight and easy to use.

The chair is well made and looks good. The only fault I find with it is that the distance from the seat to the foot rest is too short and therfore makes it uncomfortable for the average person to sit in for any lenght of time.

My husband is disabled and I have to take him to dialysis. I am not able to lift a regular wheelchair. This one is a breeze to handle. I love it
