Hardware is great, software is challenging.
I haven't tried the wifi function, but the tool works great via USB. Only problem is that no instructions are provided to install the software. After much reinstalling, downloading drivers online and manually editing registry keys to get the module programming section of the software running, I was able to reflash the PCM in my 2010 Mazda 3 without issue. So to sum it up, great piece of hardware that will enable you to do all the functions the dealer can, but be ready to do lots of research on how to get the software configured with all the features working.

Very complicated to work, no info available.. it worked in the end though
I finally got it to work after literally a week of trying. I had to contact the manufacturer as the device comes with zero instructions and the installation is not straight forward at all.I the end i figured it out and it works well ( probably better then the old DICE) but being as this is a new device there is little information available on the internet and blogs so you are kinda on your own. Id be happy to help someone navigate through it if you do decide to purchase

Defective/Partially working
Purchased from "OBDII AUTO TOOL", item received quickly, looked like the pictures and worked with the USB. The 2-stars is because the unit's WiFi wouldn't show up, and despite prompt seller responses over several days, they kept trying pointless troubleshooting instead of admitting it was defective. Ended up returning and ordering the same item from a different Amazon listing/seller and the Wifi worked out of the box!Setup wasn't too bad, basically they're using modded software to interface their device with GM software Tech2Win or GDS2, which one you use depends on vehicle year/model. The modded software is a bit particular and runs best on a 32-bit version of Win7 (GDS2 runs its own Win7/32-bit virtual image to keep the license valid). Keep in mind that most of the included software violates both GM and Windows licensing terms, since keys and dates were circumvented.

It works
Bought this unit for my 07 Volvo S60R, works and works well. My only small complaint is the instructions try and help you get it running but they should just include a pdf or tiny URL the large links on the paper printed out. I did not need the CD but info online helped out just fine.

Runs IDS no problem, but must purchase FJDS to program.
14 ford focus was having shifting problems, bought to reprogram adaptive memory and reprogram the modules. Installation was straightfoward. Used IDS vs 109 software provided with no issues on older PC with Windows 10. Purchased FJDS from Ford, reprogrammed all car modules in vehicle. Overall it is a good purchase. I like that IDS can be used for unlimited time with no fee. FJDS can only be used for how long you pay, ie 3 days 47$ to reprogram modules. IDS will not program modules. FJDS can be tricky to find and purchase, must go through motorcraftservice.com and then a third party to purchase, not too difficult, do not need dealer code to complete. Did not try wifi mode, but USB mode works good. Uses USB C connector, provided. Overall good purchase, but must have some basic computer knowledge.

You will need a lot of patience and do research to make this work.
Getting this to work was very time consuming and frustrating. The instructions they provide are not very complete. You will likely need to go on google to figure things out. The vendor replies promptly but is not much help if you have issues. In the end I figured out Microsoft .NETFramework needs to be uninstalled for the VIDA software to connect to the VXDIAG Tool. I would not recommend this for people that are not real comfortable solving software issues. I would recommended buying a kit that already comes with a laptop that has everything installed and working. Or look at a standalone scan tool that has the features you need.

Does not work using VMWare and GDS
I've owned The VXDIAG NANO WIFI for GM version and that worked, buy only on WIFI. I decided to buy the NANO PRO for the all vehicle access, but it doesn't come with WIFI, so here's my issue running either device through USB instead of WIFI.The PRO has NO WIFI capability.Using GDS through the VMWARE virtual machine works, but only through WIFI.When I run using USB, the virtual machine freezes intermittently, to the point where only restarting the host device allows the virtual machine to load.I bought a 3 day license for the full version of GDS through the ACDelco site so that I could use it outside of the Virtual Machine environment, and it worked without ANY problems, but I cannot do this every time I need to use GDS to work on my Chevy Sonic. It's a Virtual Machine issue with the USB connection, but I can't find the issue besides that. What are my options here? I bought this so I wouldn't have to pay for a full license for GDS, considering it's super expensive. Has anyone else had this issue or use-case? Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Buy something else if you want better quality and (gasp) instructions and software...
Meh. Came with no CD as pictured, no instructions. The website is hard to navigate for service. I am going to go download my own VIDA.Update they replied with a site for download and instructions, but still, quality control from China, really??
