Tons of great info!
I bought this book to learn more about turbos. I have definitely done that and then some. I thought I knew what I needed to build a turbo project I've been thinking about, but I need to start from scratch on that project now. I have no doubt that reading this book has saved me thousands of dollars and countless hours of trying to figure out what went wrong. There are formulas to correctly size fuel injectors, air filters, and so much more. If you already understand turbo delta P, choke, and compressor maps, you won't get as much out of this as I did. However, if you aren't familiar with those terms and you are thinking about a turbo in your future, read this first.

Great book
Very informative and goes indepth on every part of the turbo you've wondered about. Also gives you the thought process and formulas needed to evaluate what your needs are for a turbo and how to match the best one for your engine. Definitely recommend this book to anyone that wants to understand what the various specs of a turbo mean and wants to learn to match a turbo to their car on their own.

Spot on
I got all basic information I was looking for. Excellent foundation if you want to know your Turbo or rebuilding you turbo engine First chapters are bit boring, to much history, but second part of the book is excellent. There is no direct explanation on reading and understanding turbo maps, but throug the book you will connect the dots.

Good baseline for turbos
This provided a lot of examples of real world applications, equations, and guidelines for turbo selection as well as the anatomy of turbochargers. The book is dated with stuff pertaining to 2006 or 2007 and earlier. GTDI engines aren't mentioned, even though VW has had them on the market, and GM had the LNF on the market around 2006 with the Opel GT.

A valuable resource.
I learned an amazing amount from this book. The section on reading turbo charts alone is worth the price. Do yourself a favor and stop trying to find all the answers in the weeds of the internet. This book gives you the grounding you need to design your own turbo package to make your engine really sing.

An easy to read excellent introduction to turbos
The writing style is easy to understand and there isnt so much technical information that it bogs down the reader. Yet the author delves into complicated concepts an has a very good section on failure mode diagnostic.
