I also was not willing to screw this into my wall. That being said, here is how I mounted mine.You can see from the pictures that my camera has the keyhole versus a standard hole for the mounting screw. This did not seem to be an issue, and the camera sits on the screw freely. I opted to mount it closer to the outside of the mounting plate instead of inside further back, to counterbalance and gain a better viewing angle. I also used medium Command strips - the kind you can pull off without ruining the wall - and so far it has stayed up overnight. You have to make sure to cant the plate at about a 30 degree angle for the strips to stick correctly to the wall. You could probably use two sets of medium or one set of large, I went conservative first.As far as function, the viewing angle is much better than without the mounting plate, and I can manually move the camera around a lot more easily (I had it on the wall with Command Velcro strips before, not easily movable). This is the item you don’t realize you need until you have it - there’s a much wider and clearer view of the room than before.Overall this item scores a 4/5 primarily due to lack of instructions and poor mounting strips.

Was hoping to avoid actually using screws but unfortunately the adhesive didn’t hold. Other than that, happy with the purchase. Was perfect for our hellobaby camera!

It works just fine if you have the right camera and secure it properly (must use nails, adhesive provided doesn’t hold)—but it isn’t going to work for me. Since it is advertised to be compatible with my camera, I had to lower the number of stars. I have an infant optics camera which is intended to be mounted from the bottom of the camera unit. With this mount, unfortunately it is not angled enough for my camera to be able to see my child’s entire crib, which is positioned in the same corner as the mounted camera. I can see the rest of the room well, just not the bottom half of my baby’s crib. So basically, understand that depending on the camera you have, you may end up with a huge Blind Spot underneath where you mount the camera when using this mount. The incline on the mount is not very steep.

Easy to set up

It is fine, mounted next to a window with no issue. Said it would work with my baby monitor cam, but the screw being in the middle doesn't allow that, and there's no way to adjust it as it comes.I drilled and pressed out the mounting screw, and moved it out so it works. If it had more camera mounting options iy would be much better. Also not a lot of room for plug where cord enters.All in all if you're handy and can fix it, it's good. Provided anchors are no good, but that's a cheap easy fix vs the center mount post.

Used only with the 3m tape.I have 2 of the infant optics dr 8 baby monitor and I purchased 2 of these to go in each nursery. Works well without having to screw to wall. I recommend if you are only going to use the tape that comes with it to let it sit after install for 24 hours before you put any weight on it. This allows the shelf to adhere to the wall and make its connection stronger before weight added. I only ha e had them up for a week so far.

I had ordered a baby monitor that didn’t come with a stand so my baby kept pulling on it causing it to disconnect which was a huge pain. I came across this baby monitor stand which was fairly easy to install. Now my baby isn’t pulling the cord down or even able to touch the baby monitor. It’s also good because I can have a full view of the room now which before I didn’t have because my camera is operated from my phone.

Great camera mount. Comes with nice cable anchor points, and all sorts of mounting options. Included there is double sided adhesive or screws for more permanent mounting. Do note, if mounting permanently, one must screw into wall before attaching camera. 1/4 inch screw is fixed and does not rotate. Installation can be tool-less if using adhesive strips.

This corner shelf is sturdy, well made and flexible enough to fit into most corners. It could be a bit cheaper given the material is plastic - maybe they could make a 2 or 3 pack for 30$. But as is, worth it.

The unit is poorly designed. Our camera screwed on but the connector wouldn’t fit when attached to the wall. I had to cut the corner out so we could install. Attaching the unit to the wall makes it nearly impossible to screw the camera on and then get the plug into the camera. I’m sure there is a better design out there.

It's very affordable but the quality is also great. All the holes were drilled in properly so there was no issue with installing the mount. I recommend this because it is good value for the price.
