Is it a real wand with magic?

Children who show magical ability must then be further educated, usually by attending one of the eleven schools of witchcraft and wizardry (in North America this would be the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry).Squibs and Muggles will be unable to use a wand to perform magic.Please note: any magic performed outside of school by a wizard or witch who is under seventeen years of age is banned under the Decree for the Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery 1875. Why would the elder wand be in an Ollivander box? Ollivander didnt make it, Death and/or the Peverell brothers did.

Because noone is going to buy if it arrives all banged up in a plastic bag. You'll just have to suspend your immersion for the time it takes to remove it from the box.

The title says olivanders box and the description says that it is not. Which is the truth?

When I ordered it it came in a purple box just like in the movies. The purple box was not in the movies but it came the curtains just like olivanders. This specific wand was not sold by Olivander himself. I honestly don't know why it comes in a box. But it does come with a box.

The wand is slightly bent... it is supposed to be like that?
