Animal Spirits Knowledge Cards : Paintings by Susan Seddon Boulet

Mostly European, but great

As someone interested in the development of intuition and clairvoyancy by means of cards I was very attracted by the animal spirits pictured by extraordinary artist Susan Seddon Boulet. I ordered the pack and I am totally satisfied. It is true that they printed the animal's name and meaning on the back of each card - what should not have been done - but it is a minor problem. Whenever you shuffle, just do not look too much at the back of the cards, in order to get a really random picking. And anyway, what is written is not too much of a help for the intuitive reader. Soon you will be finding your own specific (divinatory) meanings, - like your own alphabet - for each of the cards, as they elicit different feelings from deep inside your own soul. The fact that some cards definitely picture diverse mystical traditions (such as Egyptian, Native North American, Tropical Amazonian, African, Hindustani, etc) makes these cards even richer. I am already practising with the "animal spirits" and it has been fabulous. A gift, indeed, - of the gods.

The images on these cards are stunning. The information about each animal are on the backs of the cards. This deck is smaller than regular tarot cards or oracle cards so it doesn't come with a guidebook. Not to worry though because the information on the back of the cards is plenty but if you want to elaborate more you can look it up online or maybe find a book or another deck of cards to compliment this one. That is not necessary but just an idea 😊

I had this animal oracle cards in my wish list for a while. I love the painting by Susan Seddon Boulet. So I decided to get them along the Goddess oracle. Both decks has beautiful And inspirational imagery. I am very grateful it is board less and the images full the whole cards. Each card has written on the back but I don’t mind it, but I do mind the copywriter on each card!! I understand why but can’t they make it less visible? The deck quality, it is okay but very delicate and need to be shuffled kindly. Honestly what bothers me the most was the box, it just is horrible and can damage the cards if you try to put back. Because of these reasons I give it 4 stars, nevertheless, it is very useful and knowledge cards, I will recommend them, plus the price is good for 48 cards! Please note there no booklet along and It is smaller than normal oracle cards, as you can see side by side with native spirit oracle. I get it used (like new) from the amazon warehouse (cheaper ; I am on budget ☺️). I put couple of pictures of the animal oracle and the Goddess oracle by Boulet. I will highly recommend watching the complete walk through video on the YouTube by The Truth in Story if you are interested of purchase them.

Beautiful artwork, and these cards speak to me on a deep spiritual level. I've owned this deck before and it was lost and now found again and rediscovering the meaningful symbolism of these animal spirits.

As stated in description of item, this deck is not typical oracle cards but they definitely can be used as such. The reproduced paintings are beautiful with extra details that can be used in readings. The information on back of cards makes it much easier than having to look up card in a book. Cards are durable and smaller than average deck, making it very easy to shuffle and carry with you. This deck is also a great learning tool for children or anyone interested in learning about animals.

It's eclectic but i think that's so cool. And the info about the animals just opens up so much imagination. I definitely feel connected to the spirit animal cards I have pulled daily/weekly. Love these!

Gerne empfehle ich diese Karten weiter. Die Illustrationen sind wundervoll und haben etwas magisches. Auf der Rückseite der Karten steht gleich der Text, was einem eine lange Suche in einem extra Buch erspart. Dieser könnte allerdings etwas gehaltvoller sein als nur die Aussage, was die Tiere in diversen indogenen Völkern für eine Bedeutung haben.
