Huge FAN of this artist and everything about this purchase was perfect....for a used copy it was almost new ...Price was very affordable ...Condition of the book was perfect.....the Printing of all the color plates are rich & vibrant...An amazing collection of Susan Boulet's work.....just full of colorful art...what a treasur!!!!***I highly recommend this seller and this book....sooo very happy.

Susan Seddon Boulet is the premier artist when it comes to shamanic themes. Glad to have this beautiful book of her work.

If you are a fan of Susan Seddon Boulet's work, I would highly recommend this book. The Shaman paintings are moody and moving, and make a wonderful collection of images in this volume. Most of the images are full or nearly full page prints, though there are a handful that the publishers chose to include as smaller vignettes, around 3-4 inches in size. It may be that the print resolution was not high enough to print them any larger, and that is a shame. Boulet's imagery is richly detailed and textured, and the layers of animal and atmospheric elements deserve an expansive space to be appreciated. But the quality of the prints are very good, and overall I love the book. It is truly a picture book of Boulet's shamanistic works - very little text is included. There is a brief introduction about shamanism, and a short bio on Boulet at the end of the book. The rest of the text is sparse, passages from native chants and songs, and only included where they support the artwork. If you want to read more about Boulet, her life and her technique, you won't find it here, but the collection of art and prose makes a strong statement and evokes a feeling of ancient wisdom.

This Brazilian is a predator of the psyche and of the brush. I have tattoos on me from her paintings. This book contains so many works i did not know of. It is an incredible reference for artists(me) and a wonderful coffee table book that no one will be able to put down. Pictures of work are true and vivid and clear. Just an incredible and well prepared addition to my library. I dare not touch her material in terms of meaning, this is for the viewer and is of a very primal and spiritual nature. Incredibly powerful images.

The media could not be loaded.  I wasn't familiar with Susan Seddon Boulet's gorgeous art and I'm so thankful that I made this whim purchase a few weeks back. It was on the Josephine Wall recommendations page.This art may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it sure is mine. Her art looks like every being has a soul coming out and many of her beings are transformed into animals halfway through the picture. I really think her art is one of a kind and special,as well as nicely presented throughout the volume of this book. The book itself is a tightly bound paperback book with very beautiful glossy pages. I have a video that shows what's inside of this book.

Susan Boulet, what a beautiful artist.Each drawing has a theme, one can see familiar related elements coming from older cultures & beliefs.Really is a pleasure to take time & go through each image one by one. I actually bought this as a gift for my mother who is very inspired by Boulet's work, and it was perfect. My mother was thrilled! Great works in this book, packed with colour images and a small biography at the front. A good buy if you're a fan of Boulet's work.

Good quality, well illustrated book of Susan Seddon Boulet's work. Good enough detail to study her technique and interesting to see the source of all these calendars and cards we have seen over the years.
