I am a lover of fine food items like this and I guess I picked it up from my father who could do some real damage to a tin of oysters with a little help from me. So believe me when I tell you that these must be given at least one try by anyone who lives for the pleasure of your taste buds and enjoys savory treats like these. Pleasantly oiled and OH! so lightly smoked which gives the whole boat it's dynamite flavor. These have been in my cupboards for sometime now and I have just gotten around to giving them a try. I am very sorry that I waited for so long. These are now one of my fav's. Will be buying more on payday. A little more in price then a regular tin of sardines, but so much more in quantity and so much better in taste. These are in a rather large tin and are a meal in themselves. I think you will love these little beauties.

If you like sardines, Sprats are a delicious treasure. Riga brand does them better than no other and are so delicious. A regular in my pantry.

I’ve eaten spratts all my life. These are so delicious!Such great flavor and you get a lot of fish in these cans. I will buy again. Yum 😋

Great sprats. Smokey flavor. Makes great evening snack with crackers.

This is not by any standard an equivalent of the Riga sprats that they used to sell in the Soviet Union. The fish were tiny with a funky flavor and afterflavor. They had no bones, like you get in sardines, but there were hard inedible tail fins on. We were obliged to drink AC vinegar solution after eating one, because we felt we might be sick. The price is outrageous for what you get. They can't hold a candle to sardines and kippers in oil that you can find in WalMart. We are going to donate the remaining 2 cans to our neighbor's cats.
