Great resource, black and white graphics for easy tracing, good deal of variety considering it is such a specific subject. Looking forward to using the designs to practice free hand drawing and for embroidery patterns. Even the more geometric patterns aren't too modern for me and repeating borders are included. Very pleased!

I really loved this book and found a wealth of designs and information. I highly recommend this book for the designs.

OK as far as it goes. Wish it had some colored designs.

I didnt know all the pages were black and white, and also expected some kind of explanation of each one.

the book has many ideas for design but should've had also ideas for colors and more aplications.

The paisley patterns are well chosen, but I was hoping to see some other interesting textile patterns as well - most of the other patterns included were very boring and not as representative of the broad spectrum of textile patterns found in Indian fabrics...
