First I don’t know why this says that it’s for water bowl/feeding And litter placement. This is a litter mat and it is made to be a litter mat. I put it under their food bowls for decoration not because of what it’s made of. It would not do well at grabbing any spills of water or anything but it does look good as a decoration under their food bowls and it would make a good litter mat
