Therm Boys Softshell Hoodie Rain Jacket, Kids Rain Jacket

This jacket is exactly what I was looking for my bigger boys, 10&11 yrs old. They're to old for rain slickers here in California, where it doesn't rain much, yet they needed something that also didn't look like a thick ski coat. This product is so perfect because it's not bulky and it's a rain jacket. The boys loved the design and thought it was cool. They especially loved the thumb holes on the sleeves. We haven't used it in the rain yet but the material itself feels like it should hold up well in it, if not I'll report it. Speaking of that I had a few email exchanges with the owner of this company because I wanted a bigger size for my other boy, apparently they don't make bigger ones but if enough of us buy them perhaps they'll keep making them as our kids grow up. This jacket is perfect for high school kid as well in my opinion. The owner was helpful, quick to response, and knowledgeable. We've maxed out their largest size but if it wasn't for that I'll be buying more. Sizing is accurate btw.

Love that this jackets fits and feels very much like a hoodie while functioning as a rain coat. Love the cuffs and thumb holes.The fit is roomy, or runs large. I have 6.5 yr old twins, ones smaller/average size and the other is broad shouldered and tall. Based on reviews I bought a 6/7, figuring it would be the perfect Spring/Summer/Fall jacket for the smaller of the 2. It's giant on her. Fits like an 8/10. Its even large on her brother, but he loves it and will be wearing keeping it. Went ahead and ordered the girls 5/6 too. Still an amazing value. Got two amazing jackets for less than the cost of one typical shell.

Size 8/9 fit our 8 year old (will be 9 in six weeks) perfectly. He's very thin and about average or maybe slightly below average height. He loves the jacket. Wore it in the rain and has insisted on wearing it every day since even though it hasn't rained. It looks very cool. Kind of a shine to it. He likes the holes for thumbs on the sleeves. Very happy with the purchase. Will probably buy another one for our other son we like it so much.

This is a product that feeds two birds with one seed--a hoodie doubling as a rain jacket--what a genius idea executed just about perfectly! My son LOVES it. And he thinks the thumb holes are the best idea ever. He wore it out in the pouring rain earlier this week and it kept him dry as a lizard in the desert. I wish this came in pink or purple, so I could get one for my daughter, and adult sizes so I could buy one for myself!

The good reviews are correct. This thing is made well, looks great and is totally waterproof except for the zipper in front. In a lot of rain my son had a wet area down the front of his shirt. I'm still pleased with it thought, and my 7 year old son LOVES it.

This waterproof jacket is perfect for the bus stop in the rain! Traditional rain coats are too stiff and ridged, and tend to tear or ripapart easily. My husband wishes it came in his size he likes it so much!

Great jacket! My son hates wearing thick jackets so he absolutely LOVES this jacket. It keeps him warm and I love the cool design. We've received tons of compliments when he wears it!

This is a great jacket/raincoat. My son loves it! It's not made of plastic which is a big problem for him because he is usually hot. I am going to buy another for my daughter.
