Actually, the author of this book, Jerry Beck is my professor teaching history of animation so I could show him this book in the class. He was happy that I bought his book for course text book :D. Took history of animation at CSUF and it required this book. Good images and relevant information. I am not an animator, but it is great if you want to learn about where your favorite cartoons came from.

I decided to order for an animation class after renting one from the campus bookstore, and I decided I wanted by own copy. I have found it to be a great book for anyone that want to study the history of animation from black and white all the way to 3D CGI animation. I bought mine used and I am impressed with the quality of the book sent to me, besides a little bit of bending at the corners and a sticker on the front, it is in excellent condition. I wish I would have been able to choose a faster shipping option than a 1 month wait. But besides that I would recommend this book.

The price was perfect and it offers the content I expected, from historical perspective to pictures and information about the animators. It's great!
