These things are a blessing. I didnt buy them for sports or to strap things. My husband is allergic to metal. We have tried every type of key holder possible for his pants/belt. Leather didn't even work because of the fasteners. At last resort I searched this product. I figured why not? That I've been going through this headache for years now. My fear was that it wouldn't hold up with activity. I was wrong. These little buggers are strong as h***. They have been through the war and back. And they have held up. Best of all, NO more metal issues. I would buy this again any day, but I don't think I'll have to. They are beyond sturdy. I stole one from my husband they work so well. Would I recommend it? Definitely worth your money. Every cent.

Metal carabineers are heavier, tend to scratch, and are loud if they hit other metal objects. These plastic ones shouldn't be used for heavy loads but are good to use for a key ring or low load applications. I mainly got this to hold my dogs leash to a beach chair or at the park without making loud metal noises that might scare the dog.

Handy, light-weight, plastic carabiner. Nothing to complain about. They have a slight shoulder in the gate making them less likely to pop open if overloaded, but they aren't really intended to carry weight. I have one holding a roll of electrical tape and another for my blender bottle on the back of my bag.

I use these for everything from tending a climbing prusik in a non-weight bearing role to just as a belt-loop key ring. The gate spring is better quality than the cheap aluminum carabiners I've used previously, and the plastic construction makes it very light for its size. I'm a fan.

I got this for using on my kayak because my metal carabiners rusted or corroded. I thought that the plastic couldn't rust.However, there's an internal part, a spring for the latch, that is metal, and it rusts, making the carabiner useless.This may not be a problem for you if you don't use it around the water.

These Carabiners were exactly what I was looking for in a light load carabiner. Great for camping, hiking and anything that you’d need for a light load clamp! Loved the colors available!
