I recently installed Detroit Axle rotors and brake pads on my 2012 Toyota Corolla, and after driving over 2000 miles on rough roads at various speeds, I am thoroughly impressed. These are, without a doubt, the best rotors and pads in the market. Not a speck of wheel dust, no annoying squeaky noises, and the responsiveness when stopping at any speed is remarkable. My husband ordered these and installed them himself. We noticed they squealed (loudly) every time I brake AND even squeal when I accelerate and make turns until I accelerate to 25 miles per hour. We gave it a few months to ensure a long enough break in period (making sure to do a lot of quick stops from various speeds) then took it into a certified mechanic to have them inspected. I was told they were installed properly (of course), but that the pads are not compatible with the rotors. When I wrote the company about this, I was told that under the warranty I can get a new set sent to me but it would be exactly the same so I don't see a different outcome possible. The company also asked if I had them installed by a certified mechanic, as though they would be ordering brake parts through Amazon. Anyhow, I just wanted to let others know so if you have this problem yourself you know it's not just going to go away. I don't look forward to listening to this for the rest of the life of this vehicle but my luck they will last the full 10 year warranty period.

Easy to install and stop really well. I did notice a slight increase in breaking noise. On a scale from 1-10 old breaks were a 1 these are a 2. Im vary happy with this purchase.
