I used this to connect a Nintendo Game Cube to a modern HD widescreen TV that has only HDMI inputs. The converter is easy to setup - all I had to do was plug in the three RCA cords and then the HDMI out to the TV along with the usb cord to supply power. The device produces a good picture but if you are using an old device (like the Game Cube) don't expect HD quality. This device is for a three wire RCA connection only with an output to HDMI.

Why didn't the unit come with an HDMI cable. The picture and the description NEVER stated you need to buy HDMI cable. It states works right out of the box, plug and play NOT SO. You had better make sure you have an HDMI cable laying around so you can use it with this product or you will have to go out and buy one. You want all included which this did not say.

I'd bought this to stream older video games. I've gotten it to run on the TV, but I can't seem to get it to actually record anything because I'm not finding enough information about how to do that. They say just plug it in... Okay - Did that. Now what? I'd like this more if it really was as simple to record with, but it isn't. I'm trying to plug in ps2 to tv to pc, though. The tv is regularly used with the PC, however, I can't seem to figure out this last part of the equation. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Email me "[email protected]"

This worked great, as we have an old VCR/DVD player to play our old movies on.Granted, because our tapes and DVDs are old and running thru RCA connections, you won't get HD.But overall, this was perfect for what I needed. Great item.

I'm having troubles with the converter. I plugged in my Nintendo 64 into it & put the HDMI into my tv, plugged the USB to power & all I get is a blue screen? No picture. No sound. Nothing. Tried flipping back & forth from 1080 to 720 & nothing happens.

This is a simple yet perfect device to allow my wife to use her old DVD player connected to a new smart ATV.The instructions are straight forward and color coded. Took all of 5 minutes to hook up. Well worth the price.Connect it, and forget it.

we bought this to be able to connect a tape VCR that only has RCA outputs, to our new Samsung 85" TV that only accepts HDMI inputs. This is the perfect adapter and works very well.

This came to me in less than 24 hours. Really great service. Works as advertised, and helped me avoid getting rid of RCA equipment. Our new TV didn't have RCA inputs, so this converter eliminated our problem.
