Coffee starts my day and I like a strong, flavorful brew without bitterness and I hate leftover coffee so I brew mine one cup at a time. The unit I purchased this to replace is a Melitta One-One that uses pods rather than "K-Cups" and it has served long and well but I fear it is on its last legs and is long discontinued. I discovered a company, Good as Gold, that offers a very good selection of their own grinds as well as others in the older pod style and I have zero desire to stop using them. That is why I started the search and found this Survivi brewer. It does feel not as substantial my old brewer but I really like the design and it is very simple to use and after the third cup I have the water quantity nailed and it rewards me with a perfectly brewed cup each and every time. I have only used it for a week and time will tell how well it holds up. If you like the "pod" style of single serve coffee I think you will like this unit....particularly at less than $20.

I was looking for an alternative to the Keurig for a single serve coffee maker. Unfortunately this one was not it. the pods did not really fit into the space provided and therefore it was really impossible to Make a cop of coffee. It also arrived with not packaging or directions...so I thought it might have been used.

I really like this as a cheaper alternative to keurig. Got it on sale for like $23 I think...I would have paid no more than like 15 if I had seen it in person. Just really cheap looking. For $40 or whatever the price is now, you’d be better off waiting on a sale for a keurig.

Coffee pot is nice but have to try and find pods sack that is all that will work. Not for k cups and costumer service was great and fast respond

For the price the coffee maker in the hotel is a lot better then this. It was a Christmas present i was ashame to give to him. And he didn't like it and I can't return because I don't have the very large it came out of because I order more item with the order.

The coffee maker does work well, however it does not have a filter to keep the coffee grounds from going into the cup. I emailed the company and they said the description did not say it had one, so unless you want grounds in your coffee do not buy it.

This does NOT work w K cups. The advertisement imo is misleading. I was having Keurig withdrawals.. ordered this..couldn't wait..get it and it's a cheap hotel thing for tea bag like coffee.
