I got this stuff because I went off birth control and my face started breaking out. So I did some research and found out Dong Quai helps keep your hormones in balance and my face has never been clearer in my life. It's more clear now than it was on birth control! Plus it spikes your libido where as birth control kills it. It does however make your periods a little heavier but in turn curbs the cramps. I will be on this stuff forever because of all the benefits. Keep in mind you can't be on this when you're pregnant or nursing.

After hearing the story of a woman whose fibroid symptoms improved while taking Don Quai, I decided to try it. I've been taking this product for 2 full menstrual cycles. By the end of the 2nd cycle I noticed my period was back to normal (meaning what it was before I gained weight and my fibroids also grew). There is significantly less bleeding and my cycle is now 5 days instead of 7.However I noticed feeling unusually depressed in the 2 days before this last cycle. That normally doesn't happen. I also take St. John's Wort for general happiness. I am concerned there maybe some interaction.Will stop the Don Quai for 2 months and update my review later to see the effects on my pre-menstrual mood. Finally, my bottle came with a sticker on the cap saying it was found to cause birth defects in California. Webmd.com also mentions birth defects associated with Don Quai. I would definitely not take it if I were trying to get pregnant or sexually active and not using birth control.
