We can see a real soda enthusiast in this author. I could not even believe 101 flavors of soda may actually exist in the world! But yes it does, and they are all collected in this one book.The instructions are very clear and all recipes are split into groups, such as fruit sodas, berry sodas, herb sodas, dessert sodas and so on. It's very convenient for a person who is looking for some citrus drink, for instance... So the person may go straight to the citrus soda section, and find a dozen of ideas or so. I also like there is some general information about sodastream fountain jet, history of soda making, benefits of soda and some other good information.

Makes fizzy water - you control the fizz. If you are particular about your brand of soda and nothing else will do, then I doubt you’ll want one of these.I find the Cola Syrups to be ok.The lemon lime is really good (how hard would generic lemon lime be). This is the syrup I use to “doctor up” with other flavors like Peach Torani. The orange essence is a nice addition to give me somewhat of a Sundrop flavor.The Fountain Mist is a decent Mt Dew analogue. I like it a lot.Daughter hated the Dr Pepper-like syrup. But that’s a case where nothing but the real thing would suffice.Not sure Sodastream saves all that much money if any at all compared to buyers by your favorites on sale at the store.However, I do think it’s more environmentally friendly. I throw away far fewer cans and plastic bottles.The SodaStream really comes into its own when you branch out to make your own creative drinks. All of the Mio/Liquid KoolAid bottles work just fine. Torani Italian Syrups are great for Italian sodas or flavoring the regular soda flavors.

There are some very interesting and unexpected flavor combinations in this book.I particularly appreciate the fact that all natural ingredients are used in the recipes.Now that I understand the principles behind making my own syrups, I have already started experimenting with my own flavors.

I wish there were recipes for syrups not just fresh
