I tutor a child twice a week and used this book as his read-aloud. He doesn't like to read, but he loved this book. We finished it in two sessions, and he was so happy to get to keep it. (When a child finishes reading a read-aloud, I give him the book for his own.)

Because book was based on popular tv show kids were excited to receive. Perfect for young boys who are early readers

My five-year old grandson is obsessed with the Wild Kratts. While he remembers everything he hears on the show and does not hesitate to share his knowledge, reading aloud is a different story. He loves being read to, but he does not want to read to us. I had high hopes that “Wild Kratts Wild Sea Creatures: Sharks, Whales, and Dolphins!” would help break down his resolve not to read aloud.The text of this book is interesting and informative. With the exception of Great White Sharks, each different creature is discussed on two facing pages. The print is large and easy to see; there is not so much text that it overwhelms a child reading the book. The illustrations look much like the animation from the “Wild Kratts” television show.“Wild Kratts Wild Sea Creatures: Sharks, Whales, and Dolphins!” is an excellent book with which to encourage young readers. My grandson has been willing to try reading this book aloud. It features some of his favorite PBS characters; it is short, but not too short; and, Martin and Chris “Activate Creature Power”!

Have read this book several times and my 5y old son knows it by heart now. Very good - but the binding and quality of the book could be a little better (it comes apart a bit too easily compared to other similar books and usage etc.)

This reader is interesting and educational. It combines fiction because they use their “creature powers” and a lot of non-fiction as it is full of animal facts. It isn’t a story with bad guys like in the show. The book is a collection of information about sea creatures.This is a level 2 reader, but it is an advanced level 2 reader due to content and length. For example, it has advanced words like “ordinary” and “tentacles”. It is 32 pages long and a challenge for a child that can read some of the simpler readers alone. This book can be a read-aloud until the child is ready to read on his or her own.The pictures look exactly like those in the show. The illustrations are clear and help the children make observations and be able to understand the text. Overall, this is an excellent book.

Listen, my kids ( boys and girl) love all things Kratts brothers! To be able to watch my kids dig into these books warms my heart because I remember the original kratts brothers. My kids watch the show and they are still into these books even after they’ve seen the episodes! These are great so science(homeschool), too!

My son has fought with the idea of learning to read and I've had a hard time finding ways or books to make it fun for him. He loves Kratt's Creatures so I decided to go with these books. I was blown away that my son sat down and read through the entire book all on his own the very first time! He was so excited and has now been reading all morning. Wish I had thought of this sooner.

My 5yo loves Wild Kratts so she was a very happy recipient of this book. It has quickly become one of her favourite. It’s a bit higher level then she’s at so I mostly need to read it to her but she can help me out with plenty of sight words and smaller words. She’s almost got it memorized now.It’s important to note that this book isn’t really a story, it’s more fun animal facts. As are the other wild kratt readers (we have two others). This doesn’t both us, and my daughter loves it just the same, but some kids may not be into that.
