It's nice!
My desire for a pashmina shawl was planted by youtube. The first thing I noticed was that, although it is HUGE, they appear much larger on petite models. ☺ Being tall and busty, this shawl doesn't have the blanket-like wrapping ability that I expected. (I'm 5'7, misses size 14-16, 34G bra) There is just a learning curve with wearing a shawl that I haven't quite figured out yet. That said, I purchased these hoping to avoid taking a coat to Guadalajara in December. I was hoping for something that would keep me warm in the mornings and evenings without carrying bulk around during the day. With an average low of 48 (I believe) these should work perfectly, provided there's no wind.I tested this out on a nonwindy Chicago day with a starting temperature of 44. Over a sweater with no wind, I was toasty warm! It was pretty remarkable! Should you encounter a lot of wind, this will fail you. Also, I would not rate this to keep you warm below 44.This 3 ply is thinner than expected, but it's my first pashmina... so i can't compare it to anything else. Yes, it is a little itchy. You will also have to remove it in stores or you may become uncomfortably warm. That said, I will still have to take a jacket on my trip to be safe, but I'm pretty certain this will keep me warm in Mexico on most chilly mornings and evenings. It will easily roll up to fit in a *large* hangbag or tote.

Not soft enough.
The good:It's a gorgeous color. The blue is actually a bit darker and richer than it shows on my screen. I would call it a peacock blue. Very pretty. The not so good:It's not very soft. I was looking for a replacement for a beloved pashmina that has fallen apart after 15 years. This one is much scratchier and thicker than that one, partly owing to the tweed weave and 3 ply construction. But it isn't even as soft as regular cashmere wraps.Overall, it's a gorgeous color and would certainly keep you warm. However, it doesn't make me want to curl up with it like a blanket the way I did with my old one.

great product
Bought one of these for my mother, as a xmas present. I ordered the burnt olive version without knowing how it would really look, as I'm colorblind. I knew my mother liked green, and she said this color is fantastic. The shawl is very nice. It is huge and amazingly soft.

Excellent Quality!
I bought the 3-ply in both the midnight blue and the red. They are SO warm! They are super-soft, warm, they drape beautifully, and they don't wrinkle. I brought these with me on a trip overseas. I wore them in the cold airplane, and on walks around Paris. They kept me cozy and they looked great. They are generously sized, and I can't recommend them highly enough. I'll probably end up getting a couple more in different colors.

Excellent quality
I have purchased 2 of these previously as gift from this company and they are EXCELLENT quality. They have a nice soft, thickness to them, but still small enough to ALWAYS carry it with you when traveling! A must for airplanes as it can be your blanket/pillow and warmth! It's a perfect gift for a women.

Lovely!
This shawl is beautiful! So soft, warm, and luxurious. Great for traveling as I use it as a blanket on the plane, as a wrap, or as a thick warm scarf. It is a large shawl, but I disagree with the reviewer, KMA, who commented that it is too large to be worn as a scarf. The 3-ply thickness makes sure it's warm and not tissue thin (it's really no thicker than a standard scarf), but the length and the width might make it a bit large for those who are looking for a simple scarf to tuck under a jacket. I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase and will purchase others as gifts!

Beautiful fabric.
This was a gift for my daughter-in-law. This was just what I hoped for. And it was SOFT. Worth a little more money to get a beautiful color and good fabric. Nice quality.
