Well this was an interesting book. My friend has one of these dogs and gave it away twice but has finally realized the needs of the breed. Even though it's tiny, it is not a stay alone apartment dog....needs a lot of attention. Grooming must be done and brushing at home or hair will matt and tangle. There are too many bad breeders so being careful, as the book instructs, is very important. The dogs are very sweet but not for children as they are so small. The Maltipoo, full size, may be the best bet! That is unless you want a tiny dog. Enjoyed the book and must be read by anyone thinking of getting one of these sweet little dogs that need a lot of love and special attention!

Her exposition of the puppy mill institution is alarming and eye opening.The Maltese Teacup designer breed section was very comprehensive and in that, blew my mind. There was so much diversity in these offshoots as well as high demand: Maltipoo, Multichon, Malchi, Maltipom, Malteagle and Mauxie to name a few.This author knows the breed intimately. Her language is authentic, This is the Maltese Teacup book to own.

Great book for a new Teacup Maltese owner. I’m really glad I bought it. I work and care for animals on a daily basis. With that in mind, there are a lot of things I knew but I definitely learned a lot throughout reading this book. Very informative, easy read. Highly recommend it.

I have been researching Teacup Maltese for the past year and a half. This book is packed with so much great info on this breed! From what to look for in searching for a reputable Teacup Maltese breeder, to selecting a puppy, to temperament testing, etc! I would highly recommend this book!

Unfortunately, most of the information in this book are things that I already had read online on google. I was hopping for a more in-depth explanation on how to train them.
