Underwater Waterproof case for Canon Powershot G5,G7,G9,G10,SX100IS

This product really does protect your camera. My husband and I were nervous about it, especially since we didn't find too many reviews about it but it worked! We just came back from a cruise and used it just about every day. We never had any kind of leak at all. We did what others suggested and put paper towels in the case and emerged it in water but that's still not the same as being in the ocean with your expensive camera. You can rest assured that it really does work! The only problem we had with it, and why I gave it only 4 stars, is that you really can't see your screen too well. I guess that's not the cases fault but it was hard to know what you were taking a picture of when you can't see the screen. I ended up just looking that the fish and pointing it in the direction of the fish and hoped I got the shot I wanted. Other than that it worked just like we wanted it to and I would recommend the product!

I have purchased it for vacation in Mexico.Used it few times.No leaks, quite practical in use.Great for kayaking trip when worrying about your camera getting wet/destroyed.

I purchased this for my Canon Powershot G9 for use on a trip to the Virgin Islands. It survived many snorkeling adventures without a drip of water and I would recommend to anyone with a similar camera configuration. Should work well for most cameras of similar size. Also great for holding money and other items you need to keep dry.

to think you are buying something that remains a underwater case... It's complicate, to manage underwater.. and the pics are not what you expect...

There is no cap for the hard plastic lens case, so the "lens" is subject to smudges and scratches. My Canon Powershot g9 could not be held securely enough inside to keep the black edge of the lens case from showing in the photos. This product is also quite large, so the case with the camera inside takes up more room than the hard waterproof underwater case that I didn't want to pay for--but should have.
