This must be the worst cookbook ever written
This must be the worst cookbook ever written. Save your money and just goggle some recipes. Grammar is terrible, ingredients include things like scraps. No clue what kind of scraps the author is referring to though. Photos in no way match with the ingredient lists given and zero technique is explained. Somehow, I might doubt the author has ever made takoyaki.

Use web search like they did
Would make an OK 50¢ e book.

Don't pay money, but not bad for a Kindle Unlimited quick skim.
I think when she says "scraps" for the recipe, she may be translating the Japanese word "tenkasu." This is "scraps" or left over little bits of fried wheat batter -- they sell it here on Amazon, and it really makes takoyaki delicious. The grammar issues obscure the meaning of her text, but only a little bit. I was hoping for recipes that didn't all start with "takoyaki batter" as an ingredient, but went into making the batter itself.Still, the ideas for toppings and fillings that she gives us aren't bad. I would be furious if I paid money for less content than a Good Eats cooking article, but as a takoyaki fan, finding more ideas for toppings was worth the read.
