Turmeric is root that grows about 2 feet in length. The turmeric plant is about 3 feet long with funnel-shaped yellow flowers. Turmeric is bright yellow in color. LIVER PROTECTION: Turmeric help in minimizing liver damages caused by taking excess alcohol regularly or using pain-killer. It looks like Bhanu Indian Grocery used Nine Shani to ship the Turmeric to me, which is absolutely EXCELLENT Turmeric... my order arrived obviously much faster than estimated!! And my Turmeric Roots were just Great.. they were large in size, heavy, solid, meaty, & pleasantly fragrant roots, & so so DELICIOUS!!! ... & just as the titled description says, these Turmeric Roots are indeed HIGH QUALITY..
