Best addition to the shop in a long time.
Glad I bought it. Both grits seem to be of good quality. For a long time I used a 1000 grit diamond plate to finish my sharpening before polishing. I had no idea what I was missing. Since I included these whet stones to my routine, my blades and chisels are truly "scary sharp."

Excellent Whetstone Set!
I use this set for sharpening scissors, knives and a few dog trimming blades. Very handy for home and RV traveling!

Works Great!
Whetstone is as advertised and meet my needs, The higher grit insures I don’t overdo sharpening by leaving a smoother edge. UPDATE- One end of the wooden base was broken due to the way the stone was packaged. Company contacted me to solicit ideas on resolving the issue and is committed to making changes. A company willing to take the time to interact with customers is one I will buy from again. It’s really is a very good stone!

easy to use
This was my first time using a wetstone for sharpening. I was hesitant at first to buy one, because I watched clips on youtube, it looked like you almost have to be a professional to use it. I was surprised how well the stone holder worked. the process is really very easy. Once you figure out the stone/knife angle it is actually not a big deal, and even your old knives become razor sharp again. Glad I bought it!

A High Quality Product
This was purchased for sharpening clipper blades. The design with the base and non slip pads is very nice. The surface itself is very flat and fine which allows the precision sharpening required for sharpening clipper blades.An added bonus is that it comes with another stone to use afterwards for cleaning the stone and restoring the flatness.Overall a quality product.

Beautiful product but package was missing stuff
Product was beautiful but was missing the flatening stone and one silicone holder. Otherwise just the stone alone is excelently crafted.

Product is NOT the size Advertised! Beware
I ordered the SueH Design 4000/8000 Grit 2-in-1 Sharpening Stone but BEWARE it's Not the size they advertise. It's much smaller. My stone measures 7" x 2.25" x 1.5" and I specifically ordered this stone in this grit combo due to the size especially the width ADVERTISED! I didn't want to have to cross draw my straight razors to get the full length of the blades. ARRRRGH!

Works great for hair clipper blades
Bought this to sharpen some hair clipper blades. Only needed a few minutes of rubbing them against the stone, and now they are better than new!
