Teaches kids about money
I used to be a financial counselor specializing in debt reduction and budgeting. This is a fantastic tool to teach your child about money. We have used it to teach our oldest son about making SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-specific) financial goals. The bank includes four categories: Saving, Giving, Spending, and Investing. It is made out of plastic and the bottom parts can come off pretty easily, so it is not the fanciest bank. I am guessing it could break if dropped. However, my son keeps it on his bookshelf and only pulls it down when he needs to access his money.I highly recommend giving your child a bank with these four categories to teach him/her about money. A regular piggy bank just becomes a spending bank.

Pricey, but the kids love it.
It's made of plastic and seems somewhat sturdy. My kid loves it and likes to put his money in it. My other kid wants one too, but we will wait to get him one later. However, I do think they are a bit pricey.

Not worth the money
I was surprised when I received this bank for my grandson. Much smaller than I expected. Compartments are small, and plastic not so sturdy. Not worth the price. I already promised this bank, or I would have returned it. Very dissapointment , and I wanted to order to. Glad I waited, and ordered one at a time. Good Concept

My son enjoys using this bank to save his money. I really like that it has an invest compartment so he can learn about making his money grow. We are planning to use his investment fund to do a lemonade and cookies stand!

Christmas gift
Our 8 year old grandson plays football (he's on the All STAR team) and I thought this would make a great Christmas gift to not only commerate his achievement but to encourage him to save his money he gets for different occasions. It's also nice because he will be able to make his own decisions on where to put his money - hopefully, not all in the "SPEND" slot!

Never too early to teach about money! It grabbed my 7-year old nephew's attention and it was an introduction for me to teach him about money! I gave him simple examples of the differences and he understood.

Great piggy bank!
This was the perfect piggy bank for my 6yo son. He immediately noticed the "Invest" section and asked what it was. When I explained that money invested would grow over time he imediately wanted to move everything from the "Spend" section over to invest! Bank has held up well.

Football bank
This "piggy bank" stand-in is appealing to my little boy. The challenge is to get him NOT to throw it! Overall, it is a very good tool to introduce the four important concepts of saving, investing, giving and spending to children.
