Something different
It was pretty good, they need to find a way where it looks like in color like Starkist tuna To the makers of this brand of tuna, you need to make it so it looks, smells, texture and mouth feel of actual tuna in soringwater. Regular tuna flakes off in smaller pieces. Keep trying and experimenting with your vegan tuna alternative and you'll get it right.

Don't buy this garbage!
This was the most disgusting taste I have ever had. It stinks, and left a horrible after taste in my mouth! I literally gaged and spit it out. I wouldn't even feed this to my dog! Waste of money. I'm surprised they can even sell this as food!

Great Tuna Alternative
As a vegan, I've been looking for a tuna substitute to use in a tuna-pasta salad I used to make before going vegan. I tried this Tuno, and found the taste and texture quite similar to real tuna. Also, the price is comparable to tuna - not that much more expensive. I recommend this product to anyone looking for an alternative to tuna.

Just OK. Overpriced.
I first had Tuno as a frozen product from the health food store back in the late 70s. Eventually it became unavailable and I hadn't given it a thought. This canned stuff can make a decent sandwich but it's just not worth it. I recall the frozen version being much better.

This stuff will gag a maggot.
Unfortunately the can came dented, when spending over $5.00 for one can you would think they would make sure it is not dented. When we opened the can it looked like a bunch of fat inside it. The taste was bad enough we actually gagged and had to spit it out. Probably one of the most disgusting things we have ever tasted. Definitely do not recommend!

Delicious, gobble down.
This version of Tuno is great. It is vegan, full of "tuna" flavor, has a texture remarkably like canned tuna and will satisfy those who remember those tuna sandwiches from a childhood. How you prepare it is up to you. Celery, onion and vegan mayo on grain bread should win a big prize. A smaller can of Tuno would be welcomed. Ignore those critics who said that vegan tuna is like "smelly, paste-like, oily fishy cat food." They know nothing. Thank you for delivering a great product Loma.

not alone but with something else
i added mayonnaise and chinese mustard and tasted it and it did not taste very good, but when we put this on top of baked potatoes and added heinz baked beans ,with low sugar ,on top it was good. i don't think i would enjoy the tuno on a sandwich. it did have the consistency of tuna,it was soft.

It tastes better than real tuna.
The flavor is excellent. The texture is better than real tuna. It is very healthy. I love this option from Loma Linda.
