Great quality great value works perfectly
Just used it tonight after arriving and wow they are sharp and works great. The quality of the metal is far superior to another brand I tried. They other brand stripped out on the first use but this collar is well made. I highly recommend this.

This one is much better than the one I just sent back.
I ordered a set from a differ supplier. It was dull, however I thought probably most were dull. Then the allen screw stripped on the second use. This product is much more heavy duty and is very sharp. Works great.

Great starter set
Effective and very affordable, my only real complaint is that I wished it game with more bits. I have several pen tubes which don't fit this. I'm not sure if you can get additional bits or this is pretty much all you get before you have to upgrade to a much more expensive and comprehensive set/brand.

Work great
So much easier than using a disc sander and a lot faster too. I wear a glove and hold the blank in my hand. Use the reamer on each side until you can see shiny brass and call it a day. Ive drilled a few dozen blanks and they havent seemed to lose any sharpness at all.

Works, no issues
Had this for for over a year now, and it has been great. Way less expensive that my local wood craft store. Zero issues. I have bought other sizes and they fit into the trimmer no problem.

Good barrel trimmer
I was unsatisfied with the barrel trimmer from Rockler so I bought this. It does much better and trims up pen blanks perfectly flush. Highly recommend.

Causes a LOT of tearout
I don't know if it came dull or what, but the blades just don't cut well. They'll rip and tear out large chunks around the brass barrel and along the edges of the blank (if you drilled askew). Also, when I moved the cutter head around on the shafts, something isn't lining back up because it won't cut the brass barrels anymore.

What a difference
I purchased this set after using a different set for awhile. The difference is night and day. The other set was not sharp. This set was so much better. Very sharp and does a very nice job. I was able to trim the barrels for 3 pen sets (6 halves) in the time it would take me to trim 1/2 of a pen with the other set.
