The frame and build quality is very good. I was impressed at unboxing. Frame and camera housing are solid aluminum however it loses a star for picture quality. It's a backup camera so I wouldn't normally care but some trees show up as purple?

After installing this I tested it before putting the back of the car together. I noticed trees were coming up red as well as grass . When I tested it, there was a blue plastic cover on the lens so I figured that was causing the strange coloring of certain things. It turns out, it’s a permanent thing. I’m hoping this is just a defective unit and not a product wide issue. When I have some money and spare time, I may try another one. I’m not sure which model I should get or if I take a chance on this one. It was a little late to return it when it occurred to me to do so.

Easy installation

Tried 2 of these. Both showed greens as reds (i.e. all trees were red rather than green). Tried connecting camera through second input to monitor, no change. I know the monitor is fine because the front camera on the truck looks great.

Felt like it was sturdy and we'll made but I couldn't make it come on. Customer service arranged an easy return with no hassle. 👍
