Runs small. So if your high measurement is 2" go for the medium. I measured 2" and directions stated I needed a small. When I got it, very hard to get on and uncomfortable. BUT even with that I can totally see how it works and that it will help me. Just need to get the right size for me. Once I do I will come back and review some more.1/25/19; very happy and impressed with this product. I am able to function throughout the day without an issue and it's keeping my thumb where should be. And once you get used to it it's very comfortable actually. I am healing better than with other braces because I don't get aggravated and irritated with it and take it off. I'm actually keeping it on so my thumb is having a chance to heal. it's not bulky and sweaty. My reason for use is thumb sprain. Torn ligaments on both sides of my thumb.I had gotten a small size first, but my friend who has thumb arthritis issues, I gave to her to use and she's been raving about it . She wears it at night. States she has less pain in her hand and her thumb.So for the price and the job it does and whan I am experiencing .I highly recommend this product.

This had no instructions on how to put it on, and believe me, you needed some! Very complex system of straps and velcro, I could hardly make heads or tails of it. I had to go by the picture, and when I (sort of) got it on (some straps left over?) it was not comfortable. It didn't give me the support, and I couldn't move my fingers freely, unlike the expensive one I tried on in the doctor's office. They look similar, but I guess you get what you pay for!

This is a great improvement on the brace. I had one in the previous style, but the Velcro gave way very quickly. This this upgraded version has much better Velcro. The wide Velcro doesn't cut into your hand and the better quality of it doesn't but doesn't quit attaching.. I love this kind of brace because it doesn't hurt, and it allows my hand to breathe, and if I need to wash my hands it's not an issueu. I have arthritis in the base joint of both of my thumbs and this helps the pain. It does the job well while being low profile.

This runs VERY small. It is uncomfortable and cuts into your thumb. Other than that, it's a good design. with a little protection from the plastic edge it could be a very usable brace.

I have been wearing the brace for several weeks. It does stabilize my thumb and keep it from being over extended in any direction allowing healing. My only issue is that the plastic support under the thumb is too sharp, so it rubs and cuts into the skin. I've had to pad the plastic with mole skin and wear a bandaid around my thumb.

It stabilized my thumb but the hard shell pressed into the bone of my pointing finger on top of my hand and caused discomfort there. I was unable to wear the brace and had to return it.

I am 1 1/2 years post CMC joint reconstruction and the joint has re-collapsed. More pain now than before surgery and I had minimal pain before but severe arthritis. Now, due to the tendon transfer, it is also poorly functional and painful so this brace has really helped to decrease the pain and help with limiting some range of motion that would be more painful. It's not a perfect fit, unfortunately but the best brace I found .
