Solid hand tool with impressive control - I like it!
I wasn't sure that I would like this with the gyroscopic control, but now that I've had it a few years (bought in 2022) and used it pretty frequently I'm a big fan. The gyroscopic control is very sensitive and quickly becomes quite intuitive, so you can easily control it from very slow gently controlled action for lightweight and delicate materials, up to full speed quick action for installing or removing multiple long screws or bolts. The rotation options for the handle are a nice feature, I usually have it in the right angle mode as that gives me better torque and feels more controlled, but turning it to the straight orientation of the handle works just fine as well. I really like that it has a range of responsiveness, so I can easily control slow turns as well as bumping it up to full speed with just a slight flick of the wrist. The controlling motion of your hand is quite subtle so even in tight quarters it responds nicely. I really noticed this after I got a simple electric screwdriver that is more basic and just has two buttons--clockwise or counterclockwise--and does not have any speed control, when you push the button it goes full speed so I really noticed that is terrible for controlling small screws in delicate materials where stripping out the threads is a greater risk. The two small batteries for this DeWalt have solid lifespan with normal household DIYer use, I don't use this for a daily high-use business so I can't really comment on that with any personal knowledge. The little features as well like the position of the light is good for seeing the working end in dark spots, and the little bit holder works quite well also with metal components that hold the bits securely and will hold up over time. Solid build quality overall for this grade of a tool.Bottom line, I really like this and would buy it again.

Even Better than Previous Version! (And it was great!)
I love this electric screwdriver, and highly recommend it!Though I purchased the previous (gyroscopic) version a year ago, I ordered this one because I’d misplaced the charger…. (Found it a week later.)The previous version required you to turn your wrist like you were twisting the accelerator on a motorcycle, and could get uncomfortable. This new model only requires you push up on the collet ring while holding the handle still, and it’s easy to do with your thumb or finger.A 6-level torque adjustment, and 4 lights versus only one on last year’s version, are worthy upgrades. The lights are perfect; so useful, with no shadows around the bit or work area. There are 12 assorted quick-change bits included, which are useful. If there was anything I’d complain about, it would be that there are only 2 “square” or “Robertson” bits. Being so close to the Canadian market (where they are extremely popular for ease of use), I would have appreciated more of the main sizes: 0, 1, 2, 3, & 4.Finally, there’s no charger to lose or misplace; any USB cord will suffice. If you only buy one lightweight electric screwdriver, you won’t be disappointed with this one!

Won’t go with another brand again. Dewalt is amazing
I should have not tried any other brand. I purchased a craftsman electric screw driver and it didn’t seem to be strong enough to finish screwing into things I’m assembling which was frustrating. I have other Dewalt tools which I love and decided to see if there was an easy electric screw driver and I found this one. It works perfectly. I like how the bits lock in also. The handle controls are nice too. There are speeds. I just put an entire cat house together on speed 4 which it was preset too. I’m extremely happy.

Where's my belt clip?
Great tool, better design than the gyroscopic version but you would think if it doesn't have a belt/pocket clip it would come with a case of some sort. Still haven't used it, hoping it comes in handy for appliance repair and maintenance. I keep playing with it so it deffinately feels good in-hand.

I'm in screwdriver heaven
It is lovely screwdriver. Can I say that's screwdrivers are lovely? Easy to use, charges quickly, it fits in my hand and I can use it as a small drill for light drilling. I thought it was good value and I know nothing about torque or functionality but it seems to work well and I am excited to do small projects. I gave my husband a an electric screwdriver oh at least 15 maybe even 20 years ago. He laughed at me and now all he wants to do is use my new screwdriver. He also bought some for himself and finds them all very handy.

Fantastic electric screwdriver
I LOVE this tool! Most any screw, and light drilling. Buy the kit, not just the tool, as the kit comes with two batteries (and charger), and it's impossible to find a stand alone spare battery.Takes a little getting used to, but then it's my go to screwdriver for just about everything.
