Sfoglini Organic Durum Semolina Pasta, Trumpets, Zucca, Reginetti, Cavatelli, 4 Count

While it's kinda pricey, remember it's all hand made in the USA. I don't know where others are getting their facts from because I've seen a lot of "I ordered a bundle of 4 and the whole thing is a pound total, like 2 servings per box" and I'm starting to think they're just making that up because I received 4 16oz boxes which is way more. I think the common serving of any pasta is 2 oz but that's plenty unless you're purposely overeating or trying to carbo load or something. I've tried 3 of the boxes already and they all held their shape and tasted good. The only reason I haven't tried the trumpets yet is because they're not whole grain and I'm diabetic, so stuff like that is special occasion food. Also, the boxes were at least 3/4 full after settling, not half or less like other reviews have stated.Overall, in my opinion it's worth at least trying it out because I like it a lot. I even used the whole grain riganetti (I can't spell it right... the one that has curvy edges) in place of egg noodles in a dish with white (country/peppered) gravy and beef and it worked out really well.Totally worth it in my opinion. A+

The pasta does taste great and the cook time is right on the money. What I don’t like about this pasta is that this is the campanelle fall apart easily at the ridge line. This has been a uniform flaw in both boxes I’ve tried. I haven’t experienced this with any other pasta brands that provide this shape- which happens to be my favorite when done right. I took extra care the next attempts but no matter what I did the ridge all fell apart and just made my dishes look messy. It’s not a big deal as the flavor is most important; but I do take care in shape selection for presentation as well as sauce accompaniment. Hopeful it was just the 2/3 boxes and will try again.If you don’t care about shape, go for it! Taste is rly great and actually reminiscent of my time living in Bologna and being spoiled by the myriad of pasta shops.

This pasta is absolutely LOVELY! As an Italian and regular pasta eater I was devastated when I was diagnosed with generational diabetes. How would I survive months without pasta?! Well this pasta really did the trick. The whole grains don’t spike my blood sugar when eaten with the right portion of protein and fat and I don’t have to cool two types of pasta to keep my husband and child happy. No one even noticed it was different from our regular pasta. The texture is perfect -not grainy and awful like some other brands we’ve tried and ingredients are high quality. I think I may convert to this brand all together post baby once the gestational diabetes is gone just knowing it’s a much healthier and blood sugar friendly option for everyone!

Yes, I know these things are packed by weight and not volume, but it's really annoying to open a box and see that it is filled JUST enough to cover the window. Waste of packaging too. The pasta itself is good, thicker textured, but it's kind of expensive for pasta.

This pasta is absolutely delicious!!! When you figure that a box can feed a few people, the price isn't terrible.In fact, my husband and I love it so much, we will be only eating Sfoglini from now on.The taste and texture are superb, it's like having a little Italian Cafe in our home!!!Sauce and cheese stick to the trumpets and the chewy texture makes your mouth feel so good!!Can't wait to try more varieties, especially the Cascatelli when it comes out!!Splurge a little if you can!! You won't be sorry.I highly recommend this product!!

This is EXCELLENT pasta. The cool types/shapes have wonderful mouth feel and flavor. Shapes and thickness very conducive to sauces, but they taste so good, just olive oil and a bit of parm rock. I haven't eaten them all but at this point can still recommend. Look forward to each one. I even like the packaging. Tab actually works to keep closed and the design is not obtrusive if you have open shelves like me. Truly excellent.

I thought there were 4 different pasta shapes, but only 2. The radiators are quite thick, but the reginetti are like little lasagna noodles which is great for so many things. The boxes of reginetti are only 12oz though, radiators are 16. The box is huge though, so it caught me off guard in a recipe. They came out rather dumpling-like in my faux chicken noodle casserole. It was delicious. This is good quality stuff, but quite expensive for "noodles".

We've been trying to incorporate more whole grain stuff into our diet, so I decided to give these guys a try. I am not a fan of whole wheat pasta, generally (mushy texture), but these are delicious (these are not just whole wheat, but whole grain - fyi.) Great taste and texture. They hold up pretty well as a leftover the next day (don't get too soggy.)
