This book was a good wakeup call to start eating more healthy
I found that this book is very interesting to read the comparisons between different mammals and their diet. I wasn't aware of the physical traits we as human have that indicate we were designed for a frugivore diet. This book was very informational and provided an excellent recommendation on how to transition from a onmivorous diet to a frugivorous diet in a simple and gradual way. The author didn't condemn those that eat meat, she simply explained the benefits of a plant based diet and provided facts. Even though I can't commit to completely switching my diet I definitely need to start incorporating more fruits and vegetables. This book was a good wakeup call to start eating more healthy. I look forward to trying out some of these healthy, creative, and seemingly tasty recipes.A painless plan to wean yourself off of animal products!

Maybe good for some...
I have tried to find several different books that have recipes that are plant based, but are simple to put together and dont require tons of obscure ingredients!When you are constantly ill and trying hard to make yourself better, it is quite difficult to attempt ANY cooking, but to have to plan, shop then cook one recipe is just too much FOR ME. For others, this book might be a dream and it is simple to plan, shop, cook. But for me, being where i am with my health, i need plant based for dummies.😊

GREAT QUALITY
I wasn’t expecting such a well made quality book for the price! I saw it in a catalog and decided to look for it on Amazon for faster shipping. Was super glad I got to buy both books, can’t wait for the baking book. It’s a gift that I think is a little tough for some 10 years old!

Dangerous Health Recommendations - do not purchase!
I'd give it fewer stars if I could. Recipes are incomplete, pictures are with meat by products and frequently aren't even pictured with the correct ingredients or as a complete recipe - granola/hash pictured as the photo for a smoothie, for example. I'd be ok with these errors, but this is a health based diet/eating plan and these are the least of the issues. They are recommending we eat these plans for health and wellness despite the daily eating plans only provide half the recommended protein consumption of a healthy sedentary female. This is especially dangerous for sick people and IBD patients, which is who they promote this book for. Utterly insane. I'd be hospitalized within weeks of attempting this diet. This is a near criminal misrepresentation of healthful Eaton and is incredibly harmful to the plant based eating movement. For your own safety, do not buy this book or follow this meal plan. It is dangerous and harmful. There are far better options out there for you - Try the Forks over Knives Cookbook or Plant based on a budget. Your body will thank you for avoiding this book.

Useful recipes... But
Quite a few of the images of the recipes have a garnish of eggs. Well, this book recommends no dairy products, so the eggs should have been omitted even if they do look pretty. Apart from that, the lunch recipes look interesting.

This is impressive!
I bought an instant pot a year ago and quickly decided I didn’t know how to use it and put it in the cabinet. This cookbook helped me get it out and start using it and loving it! Easy to understand recipes with directions helps me feed my family with good food and great timing! I don’t always have time to stand in the kitchen. Highly recommend this one! Well done author! i am loving this one! great!

Black and white, cup sizing disappointment
Very basic recipes for which I think Google would be your better friend. Don't let the colourful cover mislead you, inside is just black and white. Also, if you're not American and don't measure in cups, this book is not for you! I'd call this more a heavy recipe pamphlet than a book.
